It is my theory that Celestia used the school to find the most intelligent and Powerful unicorns in Equestria. Then arranged for the engagement and marriage of several generations of Twilight's ancestors. In effect making Twilight a genetically engineered super unicorn and one of the reasons why she is now an alicorn. She will become Celestia's successor.

Oh.................................My...........................Celestia!!!!! Twilight's entire character makes sense from this 1st part. She gets her love of stories and vivid creativity from her mother, while her structural integrity and craft of booksmanship came from her father. The straight forwardness from Night Light, complimented by his mono-toned voice was hilarious and very amusing. Rumors may naturally be bad to those that are the central point of it, but sometimes......................sometimes, it can start an awkward, yet beautiful and fulfilling relationship and it may even bring 2 souls, separated and alone in this wide, marvelous world, together in true companionship. I for one and happily content with this starting point of the 2 parents of the main character of FIM, and I cant wait to see more awkwardness and captivating romance!!!!! #TheseFeelsaresoIncrediblyreal (P.S: Sundance Glimmer huh..............................I wonder who she might be related to?? wow! Out of all your stories and headcannons, this is by far the one I relate most to. Also, you did quite a good job with Sundance, her enthusiastic personality and your magneficent voice acting made her a really likeable character! To answer the question Rose asked, my favorite scene would have to be the dinner scene. It had this awkward, but charming quality of it. I mean, if you and someone else were rumored to be star-crossed lovers, and you don't even know each other, things aren't exactly going to be smooth now are they? This can also be relatable to guys like me who are not very good at talking to girls, as I know I'm very nervous just by thinking of a crush I have alone. By that description, you can imagine how I am with actually talking to one. ^_^; The line "They talked about their favorite books for an hour online," made me laugh, since that's something I would do with anything, especially video games like Sonic and Mega Man, and superheroes, mainly Spider-Man. So far, this is a pretty nice story, and I love how Night Light made books, but didn't actually write in them. I can just imagine Night Light saying that he makes books, and shows them to somepony, and they reply with "But... there's nothing in this book." "Well, I said I MAKE books, not write them. Making a book and writing a book are two different things entirely." :P

Rylee Moon Can't be. 1. Both Sundance and Sunset have "Sun in their names, Starlight does not. 2. the colors of Starlight are way different than both Sundance and Sunset who have fire based/sun inspired colors. Starlight's colors don't come close at all. If anything, Starlight is a night based pony with much lighter colors than ausual night themed/based pony that would most likely be shades of blue and black, much like Luna, hence her name Starlight, and Starlight and Stars are found at night.

Pony genetics seem to just take colors from whatever part of the parent they want. That's how I see it anyway. Her mom's hair is purple, so why not purple eyes?! Or it could just a recessive gene from her grandparents or something.

Mysterious Pixelated Blur the domination of hands is different from regular genetics. Even with no parents or grand-parents with a left-hand, a person still has a 1/10 chance of being a lefty. Eyes follow the normal genetic line, though.

I loved the story! Clearly you've put so much effort into it, however, I'd like to point out a... mistake probably? Where the two meet at the restaurant, talking about what Nightlight's works depicts, he says they're about some of the most notable events from the history of Equestria, such as the defeat of Nightmare Moon and the seal of Discord... I believe it's impossible for him to know that; considering the fact that Twilight was not even born by that time to defeat any of them and Luna still being imprisoned on the moon. Nightlight is a medium at this point! XD Nonetheless, I still enjoyed it a lot!

This isn't a head canon, it's purely fan fiction, it's the equivalent saying my head canon is that twilight is really a dinosaur, it follows no evidence from the show, it's fan fiction

Actually, it would be considered a headcanon, as it has neither been confirmed or denied. If it had been denied by events in the show, then it would be fanfiction. That's why most future or past ideas begin as simple headcanons, unless they are disproved. Until a shipping is confirmed or denied in the show, all shippings are headcanons.

I agree that it's more of a fanfiction than a headcanon, but moreso because of the extreme detail than a lack of evidence. IMO headcanon can be pretty much anything you want, regardless of evidence. After all, it's your head.
