In my opinion the ones that you think you messed up with the exception of the orange one they would make outstanding steampunk backgrounds...beautiful technique thank-you for sharing.

Thanks for the feedback...you are right, I just need to widen the uses I put the background to...I tend to be just a tad rigid in my thinking...

The blue, green, orange & yellow one was so pretty! I was sad to see it painted over. Reminded me of Monet .

Thanks Angela for your comment. Yes, you can use this process for many occasions requiring a specific or preferred colour scheme, club teams, school colours etc...and I find it especially useful for masculine projects, ie AFL colours here in Australia! Di

Mud is great if it is made from the colors in your project. It can be used to do shading and shadows. It is better than greys and blacks because it makes your project more cohesive.

When I paint acrylic on card stock it starts to turn “wavy”. What kind of car stock should I use to be able to paint acrylic on it without warping?
@inkyfingy5 жыл бұрын
Hello Maria...I usually use a heavy water colour paper or some weighty card around 300gsm for this sort of project, but if using lighter paper it can be helped to flatten if it is pressed flat under some books over night, once it is completely dry, of course...and also try attaching it, once it has flattened to another firm flat piece or a matting layer before using it on a card. Hope this helps...Di x

Does the tube paint wet the card stock and make it warp?
