Great video. The drone footage on top of Bluff Knoll definitely made carrying it to the top worthwhile!!Millers Basin looks amazing, will put that on the to do list!

Had my hawk eye on - actually think I may have found it on WikiCamps 😂....lovely spot, worth the trip to visit it if your ever down there.

Nice to see a trip video that we could actually do in the 'plastic fantastic'. Proves that not all adventures have to be over almost impassable terrain :)

Thanks guys - really enjoyed the trip and drive through the Ranges.....worth tackling the gravel for the views. Hopefully have a couple more “easy trips” this year to come.

Excellent quality video mate. Weather looked perfect for your climb. We did it in 2016, the summit was in a cloud by the time we got up there. It was amazing and surreal, but we'll have to do it again to get the views of the surrounding ranges like you guys did.

Thanks mate - when I first climbed it (15yrs ago now) it was cloudy.....definitely appreciated it more now and glad the cameras did the views and scenery justice.....even though I feel they didn’t 😁.

Cheers Gav - the Stirling Ranges are worth a visit, not much in the way of 4WDing, but some stunning walks and scenery.....totally worth a visit.

Well done both. A point for overseas viewers is how prickly the Australian bush is. Okay generally on well used tracks but otherwise good leg protection is essential against our harsh and sharp bush. Heading down that way in a few days and looking forward to it again. National Parks so dogs stay home.

Yes Bob - Thanks for raising that point, some leg protection would be important on less popular or well defined trails.

Best to Brown the meat with the onions before adding tomatoes so it browns properly ( more flavour)

Nice Video Graham would love to come over that way one day, it's a bit of a drive from Central Qld but. I love that sort of country. Cheers.

I didn't like the steps climbing Bluff Knoll either , got up and down ok but the killer for me was the last bit of trail up hill to the car park , once on top the view is worth all the effort but i wouldn't do it in summer , spring or autumn the go . I like your vids travelling around WA :-)

Thanks for the feedback - it wasn’t a hot summers day, so was pretty pleasant. I agree that 100m of trail is so torturous!!!

Hey mate, doing this in a few weeks time... Is there anywhere you can camp super close to the base?
@great_offroad_adventures6 жыл бұрын
How close is super close? Moingup Springs, Mt Trio Bush Camp are about 10min drive and Stirling Range Retreat is about 5min drive.
