Hey, great job :) If you print without a case, how do you avoid warping? Greeting from Austria :)

Hi Conny from Austria! PLA not ABS and rarely get any warping. Some prints do warp a bit but mainly because of their shape, or print settings. Or just big solid objects like the foot in this video. Never really been a problem generally. Never tried ABS and had mixed results with PETG recently, printer kept shutting down and then a few failed prints also. Gone back to PLA now and happy again. [All my InMoov is PLA]

Very nice idea. I have seen C3PO 3D print models oh heads on thingiverse.

I would like to assemble the legs of this robot for my project at the university. 3D models can be taken from inmoov's official site, but I don’t know what internal details are needed for such a leg to work, advise something please. As I can see, I will need servomotors and arduino to drive them, but i'm actually not sure how to do it. Greetings from russia, keep up the good work

Hello, Greetings to you in Russia! Gael at InMoov who designed these legs did so to add them to his upper working body. They will not be able to work as programmable "walking" legs unfortunately. They cannot pivot outwards to provide balance and the whole structure would not be strong enough. Great to print though, really beautiful to add to InMoov. Have look here for trial examples of working legs - kzbin.info/www/bejne/bX7TnJ56p5iVjdk, kzbin.info/www/bejne/eKbWo3WLqd-onpo, kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXSogIBsgrCqjKc and here kzbin.info/www/bejne/mojam56HZdabr6M. There are other examples as well. The best place to look at is James Bruton's fantastic projects, simply amazing stuff - kzbin.info/door/UbDcUPed50Y_7KmfCXKohA and maybe the Robot-X can be adapted. Keep well, kyle

why such low poly count?

Hi Norm, its a stylised design of intention by Gael, the creator of InMoov. Keeps it oddly robotic looking as well I think.
