Only 24miles??? That’s poor in my opinion. It is slightly more than my V8. Thx for your amazing video’s. I have seen most of your review, learning and choosing my next EUC? I don’t know what to choose. I wanted a Z10 but not anymore. Any suggestion? Want to spend around a 1300-1400€ Best regards

I have a V8f and its super and just what i expected. Im old so i don't really push it to anywhere near a limit BUT i sure can feel that I'm speeding up and reaching a comfort level. I wonder if a v11 is in my future.

I noticed you didn't show anything about SLIMING the tire. Do you use it? Do you recommend the SLIME? Thanks for the video.

I have only ever done it once in 6 years - and that was because of 3 punctures in 1. I highly recommend this stuff: www.speedyfeet.co.uk/products/holts-tire-weld-400ml

Can you can also turn off the lights on the side without the app by holding the power button and handle button together like you can on the V8? Also does this have inbuilt speakers? What are they like? :)

Yes, just the same way as the V8. The speakers are OK but it’s not Bose…

Hi, is it waterproof? What if the tire goes flat, will you have to send it to get repairs or can the average owner repair it? Cheers!

So what's the deal here guys I see you blatantly showing disregard for British road laws riding on public roads how do u deal with police and the criminal charges for riding with no insurance or specific licence for the wheels sorry just trying to get an understanding as there should be a notice at the start of your videos stating the law 😉 I ride myself and fully respect that we are not legal to ride sad in this day and age that those trying to find more ecologically clean ways to commute are being punished
@Speedyfeetuk

4 years ago it was all treated very differently BUT its down to any rider to decide how and where they are going to ride. Since 2014 and including out 1080 mile charity ride through UK and Ireland I have had no issues until around 18 months ago where I got pulled......but the policeman confirmed it was a grey area (on 2 separate visits). We would always say though, if concerned do not buy (or at least do not ride on the road). Of course, you could ride on the pavement and just get a small ~£40 fine and thats all. But thats dangerous (well at any sort of speed above walking it is!)

V8 has a 2,125" tyre and the V10's have 2,5". And as I understand that makes a significant differense on uneven surfices. I also think that the V10's tyre is higher off the rim which also make a big differense in comfort. I think that's why many riders don't think that the V10 feels like a regular 16" like V8, ninebot and KS16, more like 17-18".
@Speedyfeetuk
@Speedyfeetuk 6 жыл бұрын
Totally. The higher sidewall makes the difference in the V10's case. Like I say in the review it adds to the cushioning when on the trails / hitting bumps. The is lessoned slightly in the V10F due to it being slightly heavier (But can easily be offset by dropping PSI down ~5psi)

First time on the V10F is really quite a chock imho, feels closer to a 18" than a 16" imho, that tire indeed make a difference but also the thread is very wide and outside the actual tire wall itself. Perfect wheel for a lot of people I suspect, now it it only could be as powerful as the MSX it would make a difference to me. Then again the MSX is fantastic in the comfort department too with higher tire wall, wider tire and take terrain even better.

what would you suggest for a flat terrain desert hot city commuter, with lower quality roads, that could get around this 30 mile range to go to school, work, market, restaurant etc.? It sounds like this would be one recommendation for this, and I've heard the V8 might not be enough for what I am looking for, what else would be on the table? MCM5? Tesla? KS16S? or would you dare I bump it up to the Nikolas, MSX, 16X, 18XL range?.. I would want to save money as well but I want something I can ride day to day and I want quality... or Z10 I suppose, what is your recommendation for someone like this? I've asked around much still looking though.

Unlikely to get it stolen whilst riding, and even if you got pushed off it - they would have to be able to ride....or be incredibly strong - lumping 20+KG at speed aint going to happen.

Thank you for the video. I would like to know you do you compare it with the z10. I just wander if the speed limitation (and the beeping) of the Z isn't just too irritating after first 15 miles. Also I think there is difference in how far are pedals from the ground. I've heard ride comfort on v10(f) is so gorgeous...
@Speedyfeetuk
@Speedyfeetuk 6 жыл бұрын
With the Z10 speed limitation is at stupidly high speeds (apart from 30% battery and below...then rightfully so it becomes annoying, of course the only way around this is to have a machine with a much bigger battery). The V10 is a nicer ride in terms of all around comfort but like with all wheels there are pro's and cons.

I can't decide between this and the MSuperX. I want to get as much range as possible, and while huge, the MSuper delivers on that front. While the V10f is everything else I want, though coming from a Ks16, non S. I kinda wanna switch up sizes a bit.
@Speedyfeetuk
@Speedyfeetuk 6 жыл бұрын
MsuperX is 1600wh...and you cant really beat that with anything else on the market. If you got the Msuper X you would not be disappointed. The V10 has every thing going for it aside from a 1600wh battery lol. Ask yourself how long a journey will you be doing before charging. In this test I did 24 miles - and at an average of ~15mph (quick ride!) that was 1 hour 40 of riding....more than most people will do in a single sitting....errr standing. :)

Second that, the MSX 1600Wh is what you need it looking for range, power and speed. I wanted only 16" before, changed my mind after getting used to the MSX, can somewhat agile too. The V10 do feel very grown up and bigger than it is + very, very comfy but so is the MSX and the power advantage is massive it really is.

Golden Falcon it’s all about context, they achieved that in optimal conditions. But our range tests are far from optimum as possible usually. We thrash it in a one off range test, I am far from the weight they test on, and we take it up steep hills and off road as well as road, essentially what we get is the worst you are going to get....so most people are pleasantly surprised to get more ;)

So say 180 pounds on mostly flat terrain. Would it at least get 40 miles reliably? Looking for something that can do that for a 20mile trip every week. Just want the spare battery power for cruising speed so I dont get throttled to hard. I like to cruise at 14-18mph
