OMG!!! Not only is this, BY FAR, the best, most detailed video I have seen from you, but it’s the BEST video that I have ever seen on KZbin, Golf Channel, etc. that breaks the hands and wrists down!!! Bravo Steve! Bravo! And THANK YOU!!!

Finally someone uses the all the most complex terms (to us) and explains it in a visual fashion. Fantastic! Thanks!

WOW! WOW! In over 20 years of playing and watching hundreds of videos and reading numerous materials, I've never seen anything this comprehensive and thorough in describing the important elements of the hands and how it affects the resulting swing. This is definitely essential viewing for anyone who seriously wants to improve their level of play, instead of just hacking away and hoping for the best. This is an "A" level elite class presentation. I've already seen a tremendous improvement in my play, since I stumbled on your videos a few months ago and adapted some of your concepts. I can't thank you enough! What an asset you are to KZbin and how fortunate we are to have you share your wealth of knowledge with us. Thank you, Steve, for all that you do!

Fantastic: this will help me and I will no longer hunt for golf explanations by several on line coaches to validate the info they present. I am 81 years old and very inquisitive. Bless you George

Thanks for a great explanation of how the hands and wrists work and how they should be applied to the golf swing. I always believed that the hands and wrists should flex to speed the club head up, but all the instruction I've seen tells you that is a flippy move, one that is not productive to long ball flight. Your explanation about releasing your hands, has worked wonders for me. I played 9 holes this morning and didn't hit one iron shot fat, thin, etc. just pure contact and amazing distance without muscling the swing thru the ball. I could hardly feel impact, I just heard the sound of contact and was amazed at the distance the ball went. I know this is long, but I am on my way too much more enjoyable golf. And it was your positive explanation on how the hands and wrists work that caused my success today.

Excellent explanation as usual. A lightbulb moment I discovered with my swing was that I needed to keep the club head behind my hands more at last parallel. This lack of depth really prevented me from rotating and applying hand forces, since doing so would put the club head even more out of position. Once I learned where the "slot" was, things made sense.

Finally someone has taken the time to explain all this. I struggle with at gap around the fingers. This helped immensely. One question as you didn’t cover enough for me the height that you lay the right hand over the left thumb. Recently I has a sore left thumb and discovered that there is an issue with pressure over that thumb to support it with the right hand. I’m also going to drill down into the shorter thumb concept that you explained well. How and where does the right hand fit over the left thumb?

This is very valuable explanation about hand wrist action. In my opinion, these wrist actions will be much different emphasis for every clubs, such as wedges, short, middle, fairwood, and driver clubs.

What I know about the golf swing only a few people in the world know. I assure you this is an excellent video and I highly recommend it to all golfers. I would only suggest you substitute the word “grip” to “place,”in others words how the hands are placed on the club is more than mere semantics.

i am currently blocking high and right, Super distance , straight flight. Will try more hand action to try and finish off the swing and bring (draw)the ball back. I am left handed playing right handed. More feel in my right hand required, perhaps?

On by the way I shot 1 over Par. 2 birdies 3 bogies and 4 pars on a nine-hole round. The bogies came from very fast greens and 3 putting on 2 greens, and one greenside bunker screwup. 8 greens in regulation. Normal score would be 6 over par on a nine-hole round. An improvement on 5 strokes.

My only concern is the activity of muscular direct action in the arms and hands which should actually be reactive and not active.

Don't get me wrong.. I love you buddy, But like most teachers talk too much about what not to do.. It takes up a lot of useful time, Not to mention it's like watching paint dry. But that's just me. Keep it going!!
