@@innainenglish I'm a big fan of the idea of autonomous learning, especially for adults. On my niche channel, I want to promote the learning experience regardless of your age. If you don't mind, I will post a short video encouraging my small community to take advantage of your experiences and work.

Recently I took CELTA and tutors explained that it's better to teach/learn grammar and pronunciation not just with lexis but in the context. And I love the approach when we present the context (story) and then take grammar or vocab from it. Actually, It differs from our universities' approaches ( I mean Russian edu system) to getting languages, but it's brilliant, I think!

I agree! Learning everything in context kind of goes without saying for me now :)

Hello, Inna! Do you think it's possible to teach a teenager according to the lexical approach? Are there any relevant textbooks? If yes, can you please share the links💐
@innainenglish4 ай бұрын
I've only taught adults, so I just don't know of any textbooks for teenagers, sorry... But it should absolutely be possible, why not? As a teacher, you can also just use any textbook you like and add activities based on the lexical approach in it
