Inna, I am positive you have heard some part of this song before. Here in the USA, Song 2 is often played at professional sporting events when a team scores a goal, like in hockey, for example. The home team fans usually sing the "WOO-HOO!!" part. I can personally tell you that fact because I have been one. 🙂

Hi. That album was a total success for that band, they recorded several songs, there is one in particular that is not so acidic called "Beetlebum" and it is a very catchy song, I recommend it to you, There is a group with music very similar to this one called Weezer and they have a song that is one of my favorites "Island in the Sun" if you haven't heard that song, it's a very good alternative rock ballad from 2001

Maybe what sounds odd about it is the bass guitar uses a type of distortion pedal that isn’t noticed that often as the other guitars on some songs use even more effects pedals

👽 ... that one has to do. Blur and Oasis were in a "publicity" fight back in those days about who was the best new British band since The Beatles. Neither were of course. The album from which Song 2 is taken is an awesome album and I can recommend listening to the entirety of it. Also nice to know is that the singer of Blur is the man behind the band "Gorrilaz" and you have listened to them before.
