His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje, is the head of the 900-year-old Karma Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism. He guides millions of Buddhists around the world. @@okmmauh different cultures. Another Asian man can behave with greater closeness than we can because they have been friends for a long time. What is okay for him is not okay for us. But don't worry. HHK has dealt with all kinds of people and he is much tougher than he looks. He can roll with many different situations and they usually turn out okay. That is the wonderful thing about abiding in the single taste of Emptiness and Dependent Origination.

The real continuer of the line is Thaye Dorje and he is picked up from 16th Karmapa. These are the facts. I'm quite impressed by the 17th Karmapa. He's so well-spoken and thoughtful. Calling out the American super hero obsession around 54:00'. Jokingly calling himself "His loneliness". He seems sad though, hardly able to smile. Not the infinite compassion, sympathetic joy, loving kindness and equanimity you would expect from a living Buddha, and which the Dalai Lama seems to be emanating much stronger. Childhood must be quite hard for reincarnated lama's, I imagine. Hope that he is less lonely now that he has a wife and a son.

28 Jan 2022 10:20:57 UTC.......I apologize for Kagyu ( Gampopa ) to Google if "superficial answers" ( 12-11-2020 @ I suggest you ask the Karmapa , what is this namtog ngowo choku sungpa shin in the Dorje Chang Tungma , and gangshar tokpay ngowo somate - macho dekar jok pay gom chen la.....)happened to emanate from Ogyen Thinley Dorje .Kamtsang can go down the drain but this does not affect Gampopa's Kagyu . It seems that Ogyen Thinley Dorje has this problem " namtog ngowo ZhaMar ZhaMed sungpa shin" , instead of " namtog ngowo choku sungpa shin" .
