Inner Ubiquity is a collaboration of two well-known electronic artists from St. Petersburg Nocow and Hoavi.
Debut LP «170» presents their own, signature vision of drum'n'bass music. It combines the multi-layered lyrics of Nocow and the precise production approach of Hoavi to form their own, original sound.
The extensive work comprises nine tracks, each one being an illustration of the authors' original approach to creating the material and blurs the boundaries of the album's musical style. This is the main idea behind “170” - showing the strong concepts being illusory, and one can find inspiration and meaning through their own experience.
The album is rich in changing themes and moods, varying compositions' depths. The lyrical tracks with recording performed by Yana Kedrina (Kedr Livanskiy): «Научу» - are gentle liquid funk, the «170» banger is an ode to hometown St. Petersburg's North and its street culture, «Bali» is an irony over trends and the pursuit of success, and «Пуля» is a respect for Top Dog - the popular fighting league.
