I used to make deliveries to Max's KC. From the outside it was just like a storefront. You wouldn't even know it was there if you weren't looking for it and inside it was like a diner. No, I wasn't there for this show or for any show. I usually was there in the afternoon, before it was open for action. It was on lower Park Avenue, not the fancy Park Avenue where the rich people live. A couple of blocks north of Union Square.

Throughout high school, I hung out in a basement in the west village where Dave Hofstra rehearsed all the time, really solid/nice human being. Rudolph Grey from Red Transistor would make it down there all the time too, by the time I was obsessed with their work, they never wanted to discuss it with me probably given my intense enthusiasm lol.

Damn you met the guys from Red Transistor? That is so cool, that one archival single they released decades later is one of my favorite singles of all time

Strange Party seems awfully familiar. Was this a band? I remember coming across the name. I think you were on my show with a video. Were you? PT

Is a helluva drug. You can keep going on it for a long time and not fuck anything up, but it’s a house of cards.
