Innocent Cheli sexually assaulted by thugs of Erung Lepcha, SKM candidate Rinchenpong. At 8:30 pm three chelis and one driver was returning home to Deythang when thugs of SKM stopped their car and started to assault them. Mrs. Shanti Rai was dragged out of the vehicle by the hair and her clothes was torn as they started to sexually assault her. They beat her badly on the ground and then proceeded to put their hands on her private parts and sexually assault her. The gang of SKM thugs even tried to drag her to the forest to rape her but luckily she escaped.
