First TV performance of the Silverguys as Innocent Criminals, with the participation of the former fourth member, Tobin Finnane.
This is a collage I made with all the pieces I found... Enjoy! 🦙

@@nonnayoubuzinnes1669 Agreed but as kids they might have been told to change it for the charity event. If he’s 13 going on 14 here, he had already written Frogstomp. I wonder if this is actually earlier than what it says. In other words I womder if they are 12 or going on 12 and not going on 14. Daniel looks and sounds too young to be 14 or nearly 14 here me thinks.

@@orchestral-tear-cash-flow I started playing guitar when I was 14 and started a punk band soon after, quarter century later and still playing punk rock. I agree it is rare, but it happens! They went from sounding like Hansen to Nirvana, but still looking like Hansen, that just cracks me up. I remember Kennedy on 120 minutes MTV introducing them as a "Nirvana-wannabe" band back when they first came out, I never forgot that. I did buy their albums and they do have some great songs, I always kinda imagined they started like I did as a punk band but I was way wrong after watching this. It explains the direction he went in the 2000's though to me.

@orchestral-tear-cash-flow 9 ай бұрын
@@DanksSativa I think just one or two songs sounded like Nirvana, but more like Pearl Jam really, the thing here is no one called them "Pearl Jam in pyjamas" just because of how they looked. Yes, everything was based only on how they looked like, all just because of Dan's blonde head. That's very unfair! People used to judge them (prejudge them) more because of their age and look than because of their music, and that wasn't fair at all!!! Sadly, mass media fueled those rumors even more. And even sadder was the fact that Silverdudes lives were always splashed by all kinds of prejudices or missconceptions. Besides that, are you referring to Hanson? I think they never ever sounded like them 🤷‍♀️ At the end, they stayed slightly grunge only through their first album (slightly, because they sounded a lot more influenced by heavier stoner or doom rock or even simply punk, just listen to Madman, Israel's son or Findaway: not grunge at all), then they moved to alt, then alt with some nu metal and orchestration glimpses, after that to some kind of ultra rare and unique alt with lots of orchestration (I would even say some kind of "avant garde" alternative) and finally to some kind of British pop/rock contemporary adult. After all, both Ben and Daniel moved into pop as adults, and Dan even to electronic and R&B. As you can notice, they all moved a lot on each and every album (so none of us should be able to claim whether this or that is his/their "real style"), then, is not a surprise at all they've changed their sound between their 13 and 15. Their musical process was never the same as any other grunge rock band, as you know, so that's why is SO clear they were judged SO unfairly since their beginning as band at the public eye. They were for sure more interested in exploring music, developing their own composition skills and their own sound instead of trying to be Nirvana.

Just because he respects every human being no matter their age, sexuality, origin, beliefs and so on, it doesn't mean he is a "woke", he's just a reasonable guy. In fact, he and Billy Corgan are good friends, and Corgan hates whatever it's woke, so you might have the answer to your prejudgment there.

Your opinion (which seems full of hate) directed against those kids, happily is not a fact at all, that would be good for you to know. Yes, cause they were just kids in that video, and very talented ones; I mean, not every 13 year olds in this world can compose their own music and play like that, right? not even all adults. They were above the average even as kids. Anyway, it's just your opinion 🤷‍♀️ so, it's not like they've always been "terrible", it is just that for some reason they seem terrible particularly to you. There's a big difference between both statements.
