My mom and I were in a domestic violence, the guy she dated wasn't great. She saw the good in everyone even him. And no matter how many times I called the police, they didn't do anything. And that night, he ended up taking my mom and also my best friend. Since then I've felt lost, afraid to trust people even sometimes. The cops ended up finding him a few blocks down from our house, and arrested him. But I still wish she didn't have to have to be taken from me. No 16 yr old or any age should have to go through what I did. I am now 18 and it's tough, how do you move on with your life when you have guilt and a broken heart. I feel like I could of saved her somehow, they guy was 6ft and I am 5'3 but still. Life hasn't been the same since

I remember invinting a friend to my 12/13th bday party. He wasnt wealthy but neather poor, He wasn’t in the best relationship with his parenst, they probably didnt even knew he was invited so maybe there was a little neglet there. He was known to be the wild kid with no rules and guiadance, but he was really kind and sweet and a really good friend. He had wrapped me in a fast food bag and old stuffed animal that was probably his.. I tought it was the sweetest present ever! he gave what he could and that was more than enough! I also remember telling him I loved it but he still felt bad because everybody elses presents were so fancy and I wish he knew I truly appreciated him.

This made me cry. I'm glad she was free to go at the end. She was innocent. I can relate some how to this. My best friend was found guilty yesterday on something he didn't even do 😢😢. Me and other friends went to court to support him on his innocence. I'm not sure where he's been held. I'm trying to do research on how to help someone who has been wrongly accused. I'm so heartbroken that my best friend may be locked up for something he didn't do. I will do my best to help him to be free. I known him for some years and I know he's a good person. The girl in the video was so smart. She only protected her mother. Thanks Dhar man I love all your videos. It helps people to learn in life.

It's not as simple as just leaving. Have you heard of a narcissist? They could be married and has kids together.. They could have been a stay at home parent and no income. If the partner is abusive they must likely are also gaslighting, threatening, and making the victim feel worthless. Do some research before you tell someone "just leave then!!" Exactly. Worse part of letting a guilty person get away with things is, it gives them an invitation to keep doing the same bad things over and over again to many different people. If an abuser is capable of hurting their ex partner, it’s just a matter of time before they do the same with their future partners. Abusers need counseling and anger management, and until they get that help, nobody is safe from them.

Yes it is a horrible miscarriage of justice when innocent people are imprisoned in this country. There is a woman in prison here in Texas who was sent to prison for the murder of her two sons, but she was innocent, and the governor of this state, Rick Perry wanted to have her executed, but thankfully she was not executed. Her husband divorced her and took their baby boy with him, and is now remarried. Her name is: Darlie Routier, and the damned cops in Rowlett, Texas did a sloppy ass job of investigating. So yes, there are way too many innocent people in prisons in this country while the ones who are really guilty of the crimes are walking free.

Good story. I'm pretty sure whoever wrote it never went to law school or saw an actual court proceeding, but I'm told the same can be said for the writers of popular cop shows, so I guess the writer of this video is in good company. At least this story has the merit of being heartwarming and promoting a good message.
