Is this a Bidirectional Scanner.? Does it do EGR Reset ? Does it do Fuel Pump scan for Fuel Pressure ? How about Compression test for Spark , Sparkplugs ? Can that scan 2001 02 Toyota Camry is that compatible.?

Yes it can clear airbag codes once the issue has been fixed. If you clear an issue that not fixed the srs system will Re detect the issue and turn the airbag light

Funny cuz I’ve used mine since 2019 per the quick start paperwork and never knew it takes batteries. Never thought to look and none of my others do and it says nothing about batteries in the QS guide… Go figure Mine is different in that the FF on yours is LD “Live Data” on mine

This is an older unit and I never tried it on this. I would look at new unit if possible.

Nice review on one of the worst scanners I've ever used. This must be an earlier version than what I have but I don't think it makes any difference. I didn't get 5 mins before I wanted to take a hammer to it. You take away abs, srs and oil reset, you've got a $20 scanner. You don't cover freeze frame or mode 6 or live data or even how you defined the vehicle in the scanner. You can do live data but it's very convoluted and I don't want to promote this scanner so I won't explain. You can get mode 6 data but you can't save it, or move it to phone or pc, live data either. The format of the test results is difficult to follow unless you're familiar with mode 6. The rs2 app is pretty much useless as well as the updater. One of my biggest complaints is that when I plug this in, it starts to connect to the ecu right away even with ign off. Can't stop it or reset without pulling the cable out so you try turning ign on, then it fails and you have to start all over. And it's continually dropping the connection. 5210 does that too. Other scanners I've used don't. To be specific, what your review doesn't cover is the errors in mode $06, and how you can't print this data. It doesn't show how to move live data over to your phone or pc and don't say rs2 app because that doesn't work. And, your review doesn't explain the vehicle selection list and how this could end up making the scanner stop working long past the return policy or warranty.

It's cool but you really should fix the car's problems instead of covering them up because the problems are still there, like it or not, or was it only for demonstration. I just wouldn't want you or anyone else to get hurt because something is not functioning right.
