i remember arsenal scoring 2 goals which were carbon copies of each other, 1 was against man city in the fa cup semi final in 2020, so clearly there are cases of rehearsed plays being used in football as well

Absolutely, especially set pieces are ideal for this. I can imagine that in the future, there will be attempts to exert even more influence, although it's relatively challenging in football due to its fluid nature. However, it's interesting to see that we can learn from other sports when we're curious and always open to learning

@@fussballcoaches yeah arteta said in an interview with jamie carragher he is in a whatsapp group with other coaches from different sports so this new gen of managers will bring this evolution
