Literally majority of basketball shoes now or running shoes with basketball traction. You can roll your ankle with any low tops and mid top since no one wants to wear high top basketball shoes anymore or wear ankle braces.
@FlamesUp1602Ай бұрын
@@javierlandaverde4108completely false and probably based on biased, what keeps your ankle safe is based off the ankle collar and the outsoles width just covering your ankle in something like a high top doesn’t add any major protection as it’s just covering your ankle not necessarily supporting it, some people may feel more safe in high tops and sometimes it may help but majority of the time it won’t help.
@mblow49273 ай бұрын
Definitely going to get these on discount and use them for light workouts/shooting drills. I have a feeling that Jordan Brand used a lot of their R&D money for the 40, and this shoe is just the test mule for the tech (ZoomX/Zoom).
@javierlandaverde41082 ай бұрын
This is there top 3 most comfy Jordan shoes. Can use it casually or work outs or basketball drills but you can probably swap the insole for a performance insole to make it more stable or ankle braces. I do think these are steals if they lower the price on sale.

Also, Nike airforce 1s seem to vary in leather quality on different styles, some better than others. A comparison in these would be good. 👍

The Air Jordan 29, which was the shoe that was used during the design process for the Air Jordan 39, is leaps and bounds better. I played in both shoes, and a shank plate makes a huge difference. I had to work twice as hard in the 39’s since the zoom x does get too soft. However the 39’s do get better with each wear whereas the 29’s instantly break in right out the box

Shoe is comfortable.. doesn't need a shank plate with all that cushioning. Just need to stabilize outer edge of heels. Do have to go down .5 in size. Size 11 2E wide but I needed to order a 10.5 instead. I would give this shoe a 10 if Jordan Brand before releasing the next set stabilize the heel. * update it does need a shank- foot gets tired underneath that mid bridge of foot. And needs to raise cushioning around the back of heel, so the outer rim plastic doesn't hit / touch heels

Hey Rose Anvil! Thank you for the fantastic review! Genuinely love your videos! One video idea I wanted to propose was an update to your nike cortez (forrest gump) colorway! That was one of my favorite reviews that revealed the downgrade in quality of the iconic nike cortez. However, in 2024, they released another version of the Nike Cortez (forest gump colorway) stating "premium" quality. I actually got a pair to see for myself and think the leather and quality vastly improved! But I am no expert and would LOVE to see your thoughts on the 2024 Nike Cortez Forrest Gump colorway!

the more I see these the more I like them. the last modern Jordan I bought into was the 35. You know, the leather having some coating for sports and lifestyle really is a good thing for me, I bought the Lost & Founds despite owning the 2015 Chicagos and those Lost & Founds had to go, I think I took a piss and one drop ended up on the red portion of the leather, absorbed right in and became a stain that unless I repainted the shoe was destined to stay for life. In other words as long as the "leather" is soft and looks good it might as well be vegan for all I care, after all its not a loafer or a moccasin.
