Interesting review. Thank you. Did you ever review the Ludwig Albert series? On a side note: your L/R channels have been reversed somehow.
@AdamTanPercussion5 жыл бұрын
Frank Van Heyghen Not yet Frank! I really want to as I have good memories using someone elses Ludwig alberts when I was in school! And yes I just noticed too ahhh 🤭 I think I plugged them in reverse by accident hahahaha

Hey Adam, I was wondering if you have taken a look at the marimba solo I sent you at the beginning of December? If you can't find it, I'll be more than happy to send it again.

Thank you for using a scale for the weights!
@monkeybull4455 жыл бұрын
If you keep using the electric scale to weigh the mallets, I would recommend putting a cup on the scale and then push the tare button to zero it out. Just put the head in the bottom of the cup and presto you can weigh the whole shebang!

Stephen A. That’s a clever way to do it!!! Thank you for suggesting! Only thing is it doesn’t look as aesthetic in the shot HAHA 😂

Is the excerpt from Lifelight from an actual solo written for Marimba that is available to purchase, or is it just a quick arrangement you made for this video? I’m just curious because I would love to have it in my repertoire😂

Nicholas Bush Hahaha I made it up for this video on the spot 😁 it’s such a catchy theme so I couldn’t resist

Nice video! I'm just wondering why the marimba one soloist frame is more expensive than the others. Does it make it sound better?
@AdamTanPercussion5 жыл бұрын
M Cubing I have played on the Izzy, 3100 and soloist frames and I’m fairly certain the sound difference is coming more from the bar selection and resonator choice - I think the soloist frame is more because it’s fully wood and wood is more expensive than aluminium 😁

Hey Adam, I bought some custom zero gravity mallets back in October. They were supposed to get to me sometime in December but they're still not here. I got them because of your video on them and was wondering if it's a common problem. I hope I didn't get scammed
