Кустарщина... подобный инструмент применял для тонкого фрезерования на КРС, для максимально точного перпендикуляра плоскости к обработки в дальнейшем, отверстий. Режущая кромка инструмента не проходит через центр вращения, т.е. угол отрицательный, и больше подходит для обработки закаленных сталей. Справедливости для, заготовка, похоже, термообработана судя по стружке и обработанной поверхности. Станочнику удачи и не забывать о теории. Посмотрел на фрезеровку, работает черновую и на зуб и под зуб. Вообще то под зуб только чистовая.

Personally I would change the angle of the tip so less is touching, that will help get rid of the chatter marks (ripples)

Дожили/такой инструмент только намного лучше лет 50 делают а вот поди купи /в создавшихся на данный момент сиротских условиях хорошая работа/инноваций не видно как заявлено/но что поделать-как то надо выходить из положения- отсталость вынуждает Работай дальше, успехов!!, удачи!!

тоже самое такое делал, только два пластина на диаметр 38, а второе на три пластина диаметр 56.. а вот на одной пластина ещё нет, на днях делаю и диматер на минимум .. как получится

вряд ли. вот если по центру оправки паз для пластины сделать(+можно подстроечный болт сзади - типа борштанги), то будет более функционально, мне кажется.
