Now this is what aggravates young people. Please stop the support of this housing levy unless you have a personal interest in it. Mjengo field is not for everyone. Hustlers and young people can not afford those houses either. The housing levy was forcefully implemented. Instead create a sustainable environment for businesses to thrive.Those mjengo jobs are very temporary. Invest in reliable electric grid and manufacturing which creates Permanent jobs. No country thrives because they built unaffordable houses for its unemployed citizens. Provide jobs and Kenyans will build their own beautiful homes.

First world, and developed countries create a conducive stable environment for businesses (Tax rate that's fair and stable). It takes years to change to give businesses chance to grow and expand creating more jobs. Manufacturing is what will create permanent jobs for our youth and we need to invest in a stable electric grid to attract investors. Not what we have with Kenya power unreliability. Affordable housing is not the way. If it were every county would be thriving with mjengo jobs.
