The 45.ACP is heavier and higher caliber but it's slower.The 9mm is lighter and lower caliber but it's velocity gives it the upper hand against armour and it can be more effective in longer ranges compared to the 45 even though it's not as stable due to it's low weight.

Just to clarify 45 caliber is a large slow bullet and 9mm is much faster and your better off with speed if tour trying to penetrate armor so it os 45 acp. Just watch demolition ranch on .500 s&w where he tests a regular bulllet and underwood ammo where the bullet actually extends to the end of the cylander. Still a .50 cal slug because for the most part,caliber relates to how wide the barrel is like how 22lr, 223, and 556 are .22 caliber bullets.

The substantually higher load a rifle cartridge boasts, togehther with that longer barrel result in substantually higher velocity and thereby armour penetration. 5/7 is a joke balane wise if it does shit an assault-rifle doesn't. so if we are talking about reality, it's bullshit, and balance wise it's even more so. and the 5/7 may be able do do all that, but if we go all real-live with those guns, and consider that it's as you said a lvl II kevlar armour then basically everything should down you in one shot, and if not kill you at least knock you down and out
