Rewatching this, it's really incredible how Donaire was able to keep fighting for so long, even landing some really good shots of his own with his legs gone, using elbow frames to create angles, and even driving Inoue to the ropes to unload some offense all while being severely rocked. Nonito was a great champion. I think this fight really took a lot from him though.

Impressive but also extremely dangerous. Sometimes it’s better to take the knee and recover. Staying on your feet when you are that hurt can lead to much worse damage in the long run. These are fighter putting their body on the line, and I rather have them healthy than brave.

Inoue keeps levelling up after each fight like it's a videogame. He got clipped by Fulton, I think after that fight these past few months he would have ironed out his weakness of little head movement. He already worked alot on his defense at Freddy Roaches gym but I'm eveb more excited to see what he'll show us on the 26th of December.

It’s not he has bad head movement but he likes moving back to take the force away from the punch. I don’t he really cares about getting hit as long as it doesn’t do much. All of the punches that Fulton landed on Inoue was when Inoue was moving back which took away the force of the punches. He likes to give his opponents confidence.

Rewatching after the Tapales fight. I think I can confidently say that this fight is the best that Inoue will ever be. Even though Inoue beat Tapales, I can see how much slower he is at 122. This version of Inoue beats anyone in his weightclass, in history. This was a Masterclass from a prime, fully motivated, and honestly a little scared, Inoue. I feel blessed to be able to witness this level of skill in any sport. First Michael Jordan, then Hakuhō Shō, Now Inoue, all in my lifetime, and on record to be rewatched as much as I like. Praise God.

Nah it's way too early to say that he's peaked. He's had 2 fights at SBW lol. Inoue is still getting used to 122, and his ring weight vs Tapales was a few pounds heavier than he was against Fulton. Give him time to acclimate to the new weight before saying that he's "slowing down".
