I don't know about the pump quality, but for sure the external pressure by-pass as you call it, is not EHEDG design. What an horrible dead-end.

+Julawski Dear Julawski, thank you for your comment. You are right, the “external pressure bypass” shown in this video is not hygienic, and, therefore, it is not EHEDG certified. Please note that it is mounted on an SLR rotary lobe pump, that is not EHEDG certified. Within our range of lobe pumps, you can find the HLR rotary lobe pump that is EHEDG certified. We mount another “external pressure bypass” on this pump, of course, with an EHEDG valve and with hygienic configuration. If you are interested in seeing it, there is a drawing in the HLR pump operator's manual. For learning purposes, we considered that the “non hygienic” bypass is easier to understand, so finally we decided to show only this one. On the other hand, INOXPA rotary lobe pumps are also used in applications where hygienic aspects are not so important and this kind of bypass is accepted. Thank you for your interest. Should you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us at inoxpa@inoxpa.com

+Inoxpa Group I appreciate your answer so I just checked and it is true that in the HLR's brochure you have two nice diagrams explaining well what is wrong and what is correct.
