So glad that I own these joysticks. I've set them up with the Komatsu / Valmet layout. Though mini joysticks are a lot more common in forest machines, I'm a fan of these large ones, like from Komatsu.

I personally don't use any camera controls in joysticks and basically play with fixed camera, but you could set them if you want, for example, using a button like the trigger + left and right.

@@bargonmods Btw on the Same Harvester that you're using, When I try to Open the Head It won't open, and when it opens the feeder stays closed, any fixes?

@@bargonmods ohh I forgot to Delete the Keyboard controls thank you, And Yes I am using the Komatsu 951 by Oscar_8599 and Woodcraft Modding, and also do you know any mods or anything to stop the game from removing like two meters of logs on the Last cut? The one on the Harvester controls menu doesn't take care of the Last one

@ivendagsvold as far as I know it's not possible to modify that behaviour (deleting the top at the end). It's something internal. When you cut, the game needs to generate 2 new geometries, one for each side of the cut. If the diameter of the generated geometry is small it gets deleted. I guess that's for performance reasons.

Very cool! Tell me, if you set it up like you have, it works the same on all machines. But on Rottne H21DB, arm and arm2 are mixed up in places. Or is there something different? And if you use the H21D together with other forest machines, then there is confusion in the management.

I'm assuming you're talking about the H21D from the base game. If so, that is because Giants have screwed up with that machine. It have the crane controls completely wrong. If you like the H21D you can download the one I've edited (with 100% WHC support, improved physics and fixed crane controls) at this link: github.com/BargonMods/FS22_WoodHarvesterControls/releases/tag/v1.0.0.0-beta (don't download WoodHarvesterControls from that link because that's the first beta version I released in March of last year.

use button + stick combo for more fine control of big hydraulics instead of a button. Buttons should be used for on off functions, not hydralics @@LillSotarn

at 9:40 you mention that you put the right DP to feeding the tree, but in the beginning you also said you used this button to steer the vehicle, how canyou combine that?

To steer I use DP-Right and DP-Left and to feed the tree I use DP-Up and DP-Down (Both things in the right joystick)

I now saw in an earlier video that you deleted the knife bindings because of causing problems. Thats ok, still the best mod for the Farming Simulator

Hey uhh when I launched fs22 my joystick controls switched sides, all the controls were different. I Tried unplugging and plugging the joysticks back in, but it didnt work. I also tried switching the sides under but ot also didnt work. Can you help?

Hey! Unplug both joysticks. Plug in only one of them and move it. If it has the right controls, just plug the other one. If not, unplug that one and plug the other. Move it and check if it has the right controls. Then plug the other one. The trick is to plug just only one and use it. Then the other. Once you know what you need to plug first you can repeat this process in the same order all the time. In my case. I need to plug in the right joystick first, move it so it gets detected, and then plug the left joystick and move it. It works all the time.

I can't get this to work. I am not using joysticks I am using an xbox controller however, what the issue is once I pickup the log the processor head will not feed either way. I have turned this mod off and the processor head works without the mod. Also the processor head works to feed the log back and forth if you have not "grabbed the tree" so I am not sure if there is a bug now or just an imcompatiblity.

What harvester are you using? When you grab the tree you use the Automatic program or the manual feed buttons? Try with a base game harvester and just this mod and see if it works

@@bargonmods base game machine works fine both automatic and manual feed when you grab onto the tree. If you use the FDR logging processors manual feed doesn’t work when you grab the tree. It will only feed back and forth if it’s loose in the processor head.

I have a video on the channel to use WoodHarvesterControls with FDR mods. Take a look at it and see if it helps. I didn't try FDR mods the last months. I will try them tomorrow to see if everything still works the same way as the video I have on the channel.

@@bargonmodsthe first one on the list under forestry equipment. The red one. I go into my controls, clear all existing controls, make the new controls the same way you do in the video and save them but when I go to rotate cab or anything with my sticks it steers the whole machine instead and it’s not recognising any of the inputs for my right stick. I’ve got controls set for the liebheirr 902 pack that work perfectly fine but can’t get the base game to work with forestry equipment. Thanks in advance.

@@zombiehoggy3701 Make sure to delete all default joystick input bindings before setting new ones. Also hit save. If moving the joystick turns the machine, the controls have not been set correctly or have not been saved.
