Great explanation!I just have one comment about a possible error. I think the i_CT waveform should be negative during subinterval 1 and positive during subinterval 2 if using passive sign convention for the terminal capacitor current. This can easily be seen during subinterval 2 where i_CT = i_Tav > 0 because the PV panel should only be giving positive current. Thus, i_CT during subinterval 1 must be negative in order for the average(i_CT) = 0 during one switching period. This does not affect any of the calculations, but I think it should be mentioned for better understanding.

How diode is forward biased when Q is off?

why it is -Vo across L, we dont take voltage across inductor that is already build up during Qon? If you know please help
@raheemelsayed4 жыл бұрын
@@xyzab5051 Inductor polarity reverse when Q is off and in that moment the diode will be forward biased and inductor will discharge in the capacitor, the capacitor in turn will charge.

Inductor polarity reverse when Q is off and in that moment the diode will be forward biased and inductor will discharge in the capacitor, the capacitor in turn will charge. This inductor current freewheeling through that diode.
