Input option - run data through magicQ from external source/console

In this tutorial i'll demonstrate how to run data from external console through your magicQ console.
Useful when someone using different console and wants to run through magicQ and bypass all the control. Eg. festival, in house console
Setup - DMX I/o - Test column to set to INPUT.

Is it possible to take Artnet into magic Q in demo mode?

As data thru - yes. As dmx/artnet in to trigger - no.

If I set test mode to none - does that disable input?

Have u tried it before asking? 😊 in general, you can use input even without test column if you set MERGE option to Input on head or channel level in PATCH window.

@@ChamSysProUsers I don’t have 2 consoles in front of me to be able to try, I would like to be able to record a macro to enable/disable input - just trying to work out the best way to do so

@@BenHunt-d5p macro can work, on consoles it's easier as window resolution stays the same. I've seen such macro option used on one install project.

How to connect extra screen in mq40n via vga

yes, via vga but it has to be standard definition monitor: 1024 x 768 max resolution. and it will not be touch screen. so you will need a mouse.
