They have that online dude. The problem is that Immigration officers take it upon themselves at the exit point, who can and who can not pass. That is the issue here. Immigration officers are not doing their job professionally. If more ppl complained and asked for compensation, no doubt this would have come to light long ago. People need to be fired. Especially management. For some reason everything the filipino touches turns to poo. Can not do anything right at the airport. Whether its baggage handlers stealing, security screeners stealing and Immigration officers going outside the scope of their job. Its just a joke.

Matagal nang nambabastos ang mga Immigration Officers. Not just departing passengers, pati arriving Filipinos. Isa ako dun. After that incident 8 years ago, no longer did I use my Philippine passport. True enough, when I started using my foreign passport, walang tanong at walang pambabastos. Haven’t been back and ABSOLUTELY NO PLANS TO COME BACK.

I had a spat with one of the staff as well. They let me fill out the form, declaring my personal information, how much cash I have with me and purpose of travel. Then, I had to run through immigration to the gate! I made it on time, but a few people at the desks behind the booths weren't able to get through. I think it's intimidating and cruel to hold your own citizens to their rights. I hope my fellow taxpayers don't give money under the table just to get out of the country.

that "overly enthusiastic officers" should be accountable for their mistake, if someone missed their flight due to them, let them pay for the missed ticket. not everyone has the capability to travel, some have to save just to pursue their dreams of travelling and i don't think its right to just ruin that in a manner that even common people would tagged as irrelevant and personally meddling. Let them pay and have standardized questions to avoid this to happen. What we need is action and change not just a mere sorry.

It happened to me before way back 2014 going to singapore to meet my husband, i spent more than 1 hr. At immigration, they took me to the office where 1 female officer interview me and asked for my grad. photo or yearbook aswell, I was very scared that i will miss my flight, but since i Cannot provide photos of my yearbook, I showed her my photos of my family, my kids, husband, our wedding pics, and marraige contract, at the end of the day Im at the last call, and made it to Singapore. Not a good experience tho..

Nangyari din sa akin ganyan around 2011-2012, first time ofw and complete lahat ng docus, they also asked a lot of unnecessary questions. Finally tinatakan only to find the ground crew waiting for me and told me sarado na plane.. very traumatic experience buti shoulder ng compny rebooking. I went to the airport atleast 4hrs ahead pa so can u imagine.. grabe sila

karamihan ng tickets ay hindi na pwdeng irebook, lalo na pag online pwede ding kakunchaba nila ang mga airlines, kasi di nmn pwedeng reason ung naiwan kana ng eroplano, at late ka na pinayagan ng immigration officer alam nman nila what time ung flight at boarding mo, so tlagang motibo nila na huwag ka makasakay at maoffload ka..ako ilang beses ako inoffload kahit na complete docs na ako. Noon pa kasi nangyyari yan ngayon lang inexpose o inexpose pero way back 2011 talamak na yan lalo na sa Clark Airport.biro mo ilang beses ka bumili ng ticket para lang makaalis ka, at ang pricing depende lagi yan mas madalas na mas mahal ang ticket kesa mura.

Every transaction with the BI should be recorded. Kapag sinabi nila ay sira recorder the passenger will record using their own phone. The biggest challenge for these officers is to be NOT corrupt. Doing their job seems elementary but to be honest is very hard it seems.

This issue is very much prevalent in the Philippines. Countries like Thailand with so many incoming and outgoing passengers due to hundreds of flight touchdowns are more efficiently handling/processing passengers. It is a matter of proper organization and efficient management.

Constitution - Article III, Section 6 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution guarantees the liberty of travel, which shall not be impaired except in the interest of national security, public safety, or public health, as may be provided by law. Sir Raffy Tulfo pwede po bang mag file ng complain sa IO na nang offload sa akin sa Clark Airport noong April 10,arrogant po siya, ilang beses ko pong tinanong sa kanya anong valid reason nya bakit offload niya ako, kumpleto po ako ng documents wala naman siyang sinabi or hinanap na kulang, ang sabi lang po nya mag OFW na lang daw ako. 22 years akong OFW before pero this time tourist visa ako.. Porke po ba former OFW ako wala akong rights magtravel as tourist? wala din po binigay sa akin na papel na naka indicate anong reason bakit ako offloaded so it means walang kulang sa papers ko. gusto lang po nya talaga na mag OFW ako. Nakiusap ako sa kanya sabi ko sir please nagmamakaawa ako kasi malaki po gastos ko sa visa ko, round trip ticket, iterinary at hotel accomodation ko bayad po lahat yan, sabi nya bakit mag hotel ka pa wala ka ba kakilala doon na matutuluyan. sabi ko required po yan sa pupuntahan ko. sabi nya ah basta offload ka umalis kana, alis!

Thank you Senator Raffy and Senator Grace Poe for your concern. Isang example lang: ang dami po talagang ino-offload na Pilipino papuntang Thailand. Dahil nga daw the Immigration wanted to prevent human trafficking but how can they be so certain na yong mga in-offload nila ay victims of human trafficking? They must find other ways of interrogating a would-be victim of human trafficking and not just simply offloading passengers. Paano naman yong binayad nila sa kanilang plane ticket? Hindi naman i-rerefund yan ng Immigration.

I never had any issues with immigration when I traveled abroad, but I heard a lot of horrible immigration stories, and it's about time to bring this problem to light, at solusyunan. We understand naman the reason of the bureau, pero parang ang O.A ng mga measures nila to the point na kahit yung iba na ang gusto e magtravel lang naman talaga for leisure na-oofload pa rin. Well, O.A naman talaga ang mga measures and processes ng mga agencies dito sa Pinas, they asked for so many requirements kahit di naman na necessary. Re-training will not work if you're using your old training materials. Better come up with new ones...

DMW / POEA ay tulad ng IMMIGRATION sa bagal. Direct Hire Processing nila ay pagong umusad. I completed Phases 1 and 2 early - almost a month before the deadline of my employer. Sa bagal ng DMW - Direct Hire, nakansela yung kontrata ko dhil lumagpas sa deadline yung issuance sana ng OEC. Naisanla yung kotse ko pra pang gastos sa proseso at nahila kamakailan lang. Paano ito maibabalik ng gobyerno ang nawala skin? 53,000,000 VND na sahod ang nasayang. Almost half-million na sanla ng kotse ko ang ndi na nabayaran. Grabe ang gobyerno natin...tsssk!

I also have a horror story in our own immigration. nakakadala, nkakadismaya, nkakapanghina sa dami n ng bansa napuntahan ko, only in the Phil lang talaga. s immigration booth madami tanong but I answered it will, kaya tinatakan n ang passport ko, meron girl duon s loob n madadaanan mo, kinakaway nya mga dumadaan pero d lahat, meron din d sya pinapansin pero ok lang din s kanya, ako ang na tyempuhan lumapit ako kasi medyo maaga pa, ang mga hinanap s akin yong mga wala akong dala, like old passport ko. kaya dinala ako duon s office nila, offload dw ako, ganon lang kadali, ma wash out yong pera kng inipon, imbis mgvakasyon para mawala ang stress, s airport p lang sobrang nkaka stress ang mga irrelevant question nila, in short inaabuso nila ang power n binigay s kanila, im sure d lang ako nagiisa, madami pang luhaan n mga pinoy. kaya dapat palitan n lahat n mga yan. salamat Sen Raffy idol at Sen Grace

This is what I notice with most agencies in the Philippines. Hindi nila problema kung di natin ma provide yung hinahanap nila or di natin masagot mga questions nila. Walang issue kung ginagawa lng nila ang "portion" ng work nila for security. But I think it is also their duty to provide proper procedures or guidelines and make sure people know about this. Make sure people are aware kung may updates. Hindi lng yung nakaupo, nakasweldo natapos ang araw pero there is no aim for "kind service" to the people. Sayang ang oras at pagod ng lahat isama pati pera. Wala nang sense of work productivity at improvement. Sigh!

Simple lang ang hinahanap sa Dubai..visa..ticket...passportt..sa pinas kadami daming hinahanap at tinatanong..Pinas paurong ba tayo ..dito sa dubai matagal na yung 2 mins sa immigration..kung kumpleto ang docs wala ng tanong..alam nyo pa ba duties and responsibilities..yung iba naging nbi na naging judge pa..inimbestigahan ka na ng walang kalaban laban..hinatulan ka pang wag sumakay dahil sa walang kwentang dahilan at opinyon nila....ano na Pinas..ano na immigration officers..need ba ng training or mag aral ulit..tamang ptocesso..concrete na rules and docs lang dapat ang basehan..bakit ba naliligaw at pinapayagan iyo ng mga nanagers nyo..a good systematic flow ang dapat..may required mins lang per passenger..pag nagtagal dapat questinun ang officer bakit ano problema..hindi yung pinababayyan lang sila magkslat dyan sa airport..nakakahiya.

Skl experience ko sa immigration. Di pa naman ako naooffload so far pero muntik na. One time, papunta kami Dubai ng ate ko and brother in law ko. Unang tinanong ang brother in law ko. Nakalusot sya pero sabi ng IO (masungit na may pagkaboyish si ate girl), “lusot ka na sir pero di ko sure dyan sa dalawang kasama mo”. It happened to my Japanese friends last week.. sa dami ng tanong sa immig di sila nakasakay ng eroplano.. to think na panay balik dito yun sa Pinas..Non Profit org. na tumutulong dito sa Pinas like pagtatanim and nagdodonate din. They went here to visit din mga dumpsites at tinitingnan kung ano pwede nilang magawa o maibigay na tulong tapos ganun nangyari sa kanila last week.. nagdedemand ng refund sa ticket pero walang napala. Nag book ng ticket kasi they have work din sa Japan napaka mahal pa naman gumastos din ng more or less 50k 1 way ticket. Nakakaloka lang

Matagal ng gawain yan ng mga taga BI,na experienced ko yan noon way back 2008,first time kong dumaan sa agency,pero 3x ko ng balik ng LEbanon. naka BAnned noon ang lebanon dahil sa War,pero gusto ng amo ko na bumalik ako,kaya pinadaan sa Agency. MAy kasabwat cla sa loob n mga IO,waiting kami nun ng signal,maya maya may ngPM sa amin at sinasabi na kung saang window kami pipila,pero grabe ang KABA ko noon,kc first time ko na ganun,dahil never akong dumaan s agency kc direct hire ako nung frist at 2nd n abroad.

Saka dapat may Spot checking kayo. It should not be known by every staff or Manager. Yun Spot checking ay isang act to re check the office, Store, cash flow, staff logsheet, review CCtv. Customer complain report, losses luggage, stealing and other related. This is also to know if the SOP is implemented and follow. That compliance against listed checklist is doing and monitor.

I don’t know how to bring this up to the senate or to any concerned leaders in this department. Let’s require every immigration officer to release accountability letters that state the reasons why they offload or interrogate passengers for a very long time. At least when the passengers felt like they are victims of power tripping, they can bring the letter to the court and defend their side. This can be an act of protection too to the immigration officers if they can give valid reasons behind their decisions. It’s a win win situation.
