Based on your description I imagine half-elves would look like the elves from Lord of the Rings: light hair, eyes with pupils , pointed but not long ears. It also occurs to me that enough time has now passed that any human/night elf children could be adults, I wonder what they would be like?
@jackerez35375 жыл бұрын
It’s been around 13 years since Lordaeron fell, so we could assume the Night Elves joined the Alliance a few years later, 1 or 2. This means that at the very least, if there was love at first sight between a human and a Night Elf, the oldest a half Night Elf could be is 11 or 12 years old. If they ever make a WoW2 you can bet your soul that I’ll be rping a half night elf though.

I don't roleplay but I found this guide great as a general lore lesson. No one has done a lore lesson on Half-Elves.

Thank you so much! I leveled a void elf all the way to level 60 and was wondering instead of human could I play as a void elf but high elf?

You forgot to mention that you can be raised into undeath by Sylvanas if your corpse is decayed enough to make them not notice your elven features. (Normally this is also another common thing I see for RP like they lived in a excluded part outside of society near (x) region then were recently raised by Sylvanas in Cata)

I have a question about one thing. I think you didn't covered in your video "art of hiding their origins". What about that? I'm curious how easy is it to spot things that can lead one to exposing half-elf.

yaaaas i love you Inquisitor Aura! I know you mentioned you have Mage planned as a class guide ahead but I would be very curious to see a rogue roleplay guide as well! And consider (as I am sure you would) not just showing the stereotypical "outlaw swashbuckler" archetype for them! I see soooo many roleplayers assuming if your a rogue you must be wicked and this is not always so! thank you for your time Inquisitor! ((I noticed your icon is a witch hunter from Warhammer, i for one may attempt to roleplay my rogue as a "Witch Hunter" in the outlaw spec come legion... pistols. *drools*))

I LOVE Warhammer. LOVE IT. And I can do Rogue, as well! I'll put it on mah list!

Still waiting for the guide on Wyvernrest Agents and Dragons. I would love to see that ! Please consider it.

Dragons is in the works. Do you mean Wyrmrest agents?
@inkheart48668 жыл бұрын
Inquisitor Aura Aren't dragons Wyvernrest agents? I meant the dragons who can disguise as mortals like Andormu, Chronormu,Zidormi.

+Scirvire The Astral Walker my question is about Wyvernrest as I have found next to nothing on them. Do you mean Wyrmrest instead?

+Inquisitor Aura Yes. Maybe I got the name wrong. I'm sorry. On another unrelated notice, I posted a question on your Death Knight video. Can you please take a look?

I've recently decided to try and go back to roleplay, trying to build a story I stumbled upon this video. How were Half Elfs treated in Quel'thalas 'before' even the first war? could a Half Elf rise to titles and respect by the Quel'dorei? let's say for example my High Elf fathered two half elfs by a human, and brought them to live in Quel'thalas before the Third War. One child grows up, trains and becomes a Magister, and the other, a Ranger Lord. Is this possible? There exists Nathanos, a human who became a Ranger Lord so the latter may not be so far fetched.

Question about magic. I've never really bothered to check out the WoW lore until a few months ago, and I just love it. But, what I am having difficulties with is; can just anyone learn magic or do you have to be born with magical abilities?
@InquisitorAura8 жыл бұрын
To my knowledge, anyone can learn magic, but some have a natural affinity for it (the Sin'dorei and kaldorei, for examples, are both races who are naturally attuned to the arcane.) Shamanism might be a gifted ability (as not all orcs can learn it, but I can't speak for Trolls, Tauren, Draenei, or Dwarves on that), and fel, void magics, and the Light are just a matter of finding them, really.

is there half night elf- half humans?was wandering since i dont see anyone rp as one? love your vids :)

Not really. Given the Night Elves only joined the Alliance only a few years ago, Amy children born of such a pairing would be very young.

In shadowlands when it finally drops, I'd suggest using the asian esque human face model, to capture that elegant human vibe

Do High Elves and Blood Elves believe in the light?
@InquisitorAura7 жыл бұрын
I don't see why they wouldn't. Maybe not at first, but now it would be common.
@israelmelendez83987 жыл бұрын
Would their interpretation of the light be different than that of the Humans and Dwarves? Y'know kinda like the Taurens interpretation of the light is like the sun god An'she

Didn't Stormwind have a large population of Quel'dorei ?
@InquisitorAura8 жыл бұрын
Not really. Most of the Quel'dorei either stayed in Quel'Thalas (where they knew they were safe) or Dalaran (since most of them were mages.) That being said, there are always the adventurous souls who are never satisfied, so while there were some High Elves out and about, they were nowhere near the majority. Maybe a few hundred at most, but certainly nowhere near the numbers in either Dalaran or Silvermoon.
@weall12088 жыл бұрын
I still remember it said ( on wowwiki, tho wow wiki is shit) that there are more quel'dorei in Sw than orcs in Stormwind
@weall12088 жыл бұрын
Tfu , orcs in orgrimmar
@InquisitorAura8 жыл бұрын
LOL Orcs in SW was funnier. Also, WoWwiki. Really, the elves are elves. They Blood Elves act very much like the High Elves did- they are very insular, which are traits they got from the Night Elves. RPers aside, most elves prefer to keep to themselves.
@weall12088 жыл бұрын
Meh , I actually reminded myself of a half kaldorei half human ( she was 23 ) , when people said its lore breaking she would say " I just want to have fun" and would show 0 fucks ( and yea, wowwiki ... i know)
@SuperAttackrabbit018 жыл бұрын
WHAT?! I'm sorry for the corrections I'm about to show you, as I have pronounced things just the same, until I learned from WoW videos otherwise. Here are some things I believe you should understand. The word "Quel'dorei" is really pronounced "Quell-Door-Aye", not "kel-door-eh". And even then, the Night Elves are called Kaldorei . Dalaran is pronounced "Dollar-On", not Dal-er-Anne". Additionally, before they were called Sin'dorei they were Quel'dorei, the High Elves. It was after the Scourge slaughtered nearly 90% of the High Elves, 90% of the survivors renamed themselves the Blood Elves, in homage to their murdered brethren. But the high Elves nearly died because Lordaeron's military strength was already dminished and scattered with the loss of their king, and King Anasterian withdrew his nation from the Alliance, when he shouldn't have
@InquisitorAura8 жыл бұрын
I covered most of the history of Silvermoon in my Blood Elves video, which is why I left it out here. Also, everyone hits me on the pronunciation, but that's because no on agrees on how Quel'dorei, Sin'dorei, and Dalaran should be pronounced. I pronounce them all differently in all of my videos because i the end... it doesn't really matter, since most people who RP don't actually speak to each other. My point gets across regardless of my pronunciation. :)

human kingdoms left you to die...human kingdoms could say the same when they needed help from the Scourge..high elves just turned their backs and let them be destroyed...who would help anybody like that?
@InquisitorAura7 жыл бұрын
This is true. Keep in mind this is a guide, so everything I say in it is to help put things into perspective, and from the perspective of the High Elves... that's exactly what humankind did.
