@@SL-md5sm Yes, that is how they start the topic. But they go on the discuss happiness and song-writing and how love/relationships isn't her #1 source of happiness in life atm. So she states how difficult it is to song-write having to constantly rely on that one relationship from 5-6 years ago for material and not wanting to lie while song-writing. What I am saying is that the music industry needs to be willing to showcase more songs that aren't only about love and relationships b/c not everyone in this world can relate to, or are looking for love/relationships. There should be other topics that she should be allowed to talk about through her music and it still be popular. The constant topic of love and relationships in a vast majority of music (particularly pop music) is why she is struggling as a song-writing because she does not have material/experience to base her lyrics after (given that she is expected to create songs about love b/c that is what 'sells' in the industry).

@@lte1967 True, love is general in many cases in the world, but i wouldn't really say that is true for pop/general music. i see it referring to 'in-a-relationship' type of love more so than not (but of course, everything always comes down to personal interpretation).
