How cool is it to know that almost everyone you interacted with knew to converse in english. May or may not be fluent, but they knew to get your work done. Be it from the hotel attendent, the autorickshaw driver, ticket counter guy to the grandpa in the bus whom you asked about the duration of travel. That's how India opened up to the world 🇮🇳.

I mean for coziness, you can like adjust to it and sometimes the buses can be a bit rough tho. The safety however is really great. We even have some dedicated sections of the seats just for women and children who are traveling together.

Next time when you take a "tuk tuk", ask the driver to turn on the metre reading. All rickshaws have a metre reader which calculates the charge for the trip and it's also visible to the traveller. There is a minimum charge for a rickshaw trip and as the distance travelled increases the charge also increases.. there's really no fixed charge like in the bus..

Bus race is a common thing in kerala😂. The main competitors are ksrtc and ls or sf buses(pink coloured). Sometimes even blue buses will compete. But most favourite is our KSRTC, Aanavandi
