Hi guys, bot creator here. Thanks to Sunless for doing this awesome video! Nexto is still training over at the RLGym Twitch channel, where we also do showmatches from time to time (we've had several pros attempt the 1v2). By this point Nexto has amassed over 300k hours, and is better than the version Sunless played😉 We’ve released the version that Sunless played to RLBot, but the best is yet to come, so keep an eye out!

Cool idea, but realistically a very complicated problem. The question of what constitutes a specific mmr, that is. It could be certain inconsistencies or lack of mechanics or bad rotations and all of this is constantly changing as the mmr to skill ratio changes in real rocket league. a tip I found(as a d3/c1) is that aerial attacks(eg. an air dribble or something, or just anything higher in the air in general) are more effective because the bot is mostly ground based and isn't as good in the air, shown when it missed an aerial even at GC level. I did face it a month ago though, so it most likely got better in that time

Genuinely the best produced but still casual rocket league video I’ve seen, great job

I wanna see Nexto crush "you're literally a bot" toxic players.
@shadowyzephyr2 жыл бұрын
The problem is you can't load Nexto into a match with another player without doing a LAN match, and if you tried to get them to set up a lan match they would definitely get suspicious and not do it.

@@shadowyzephyr I figured as much, but it's a dream worth dreaming.

That bot looks insane , dang I think I am going to get destroyed like 100 - 0 . These bots are also scary jezz , there are like freaking nightmares . We really need to find the ultimately the best rocket league player of all time to beat this bot but this will turn that bot to be the Best RL of all time . That bot really made you look like a diamond 2-3

We now have to set up a challenge against all the pros you can get, whoever beats the bot in the least amount of tries wins money or something. Or even do a pro ffa again but have the top 2 go up against 2 of the bots in a finale 2v2

100% Need to see Flakes vs Nexto. But don't tell Flakes it's a bot lol

There needs to be a King of the Hill gamemode with bots like this. It would help players improve so much by forcing them to play 1s but not getting frustrated over losing ranks and being what a saved lol

I'd love to see more content creators and pros play against this bot

It’s kinda scary how he knew when to pop the ball over you and what to do for every single situation. Although the bot gives free goals to you he always learns from the mistake and it doesn’t usually happen twice which impresses me and baffles me how a AI can learn any type of game no matter what, all it needs is time

Would actually be super cool if there were different level bots for each rank. Epic could probably higher this guy and some people to make bots that correspond to each little rank in rocket league and it would be good practice and also a fun motivation with a meaningful incentive to want to beat each bot like some arcade trial game

The bot training arc was literally naruto using shadow clone at the waterfall to learn quicker lmaooo

After seeing some of the bot videos I also recently downloaded rlbot. Your video is my reaction spot-on, except I'm still working on beating Nexto's predecessor. These guys are no joke, and grinding ones with them for a bit every day send to be paying off.

The advantage that the bot has over humans is knowing exactly what you do and can also predict stuff much easier since it has played for thousands of hours and can remember every single match

I've trained with Necto and Nexto last several days, first for my horrible kickofs. Nexto is now much stronger in aerial game. A simple Air Dribble was enough to beat him, now that is no longer working ;:)
