Any racing game should be using or looking the shakiness during the start of the acceleration and the blur effects as the car sped on passing the backgrounds in order to stimulate realism in players in car sims/racing games from this POV. Yeah I’d have to agree. I’ve since had it on other times and I have to admit it’s a bit sketchy around fast curves. A shorter pole reduces the risk though

It’s strange, I’ve had a few people ask me this… I tighten mine down a LOT, so it hasn’t sagged ever. But I’m not sure if they’ve changed the mount now and it’s softer and sags more? Wish I could be more help

I am planning on buying the delta tri mount, to mount insta360 one x2 for froza view on my car....do you recommend if the delta mount is solid enough to hold the weight of one x2 with 2 meter selfie stick.... for hard pulls??? is the mount all plastic material or metal.. mainly the 1/4 screw part...?

So I’ve got a delkin mount (the one linked in the desc) and it’s strong. Metal construction where it matters (like the 1/4 screw area for ex). For hard pulls you definitely want the tri-cup mount for sure. The issue people have been having is more so that the selfie sticks are bendy or the knob isn’t tightened enough so the pole will move slightly, giving the footage a bouncy feel. Personal rec is to get a shorter stiffer pole (maybe a 1-1.5m range) and make sure you have the mount tight af. Especially with hard corners or pulls. Hope this helps!

X series is a 360 camera only. One R/RS is a 360 camera AND a traditional action cam. I prefer the simplicity of the X series now that I’ve had a chance to use both. Hope this helps

Hey I have same camera and same mount, do you find the issue where the ballhead of the geko does not lock tight enough? With just a little bit of gas my ballhead gives up and moves downwards slowly no matter how tight I screw it. There is no rubber piece nothing inside there so over bumps or a bit of speed it moves down. Does yours do that too? Any solutions u found if it does?

Depends what you want to do with it! To get this exact shot a drone requires 2 people and is a lot harder since you have to be a very good pilot to follow closely. At the same time, a drone is more versatile with the kinds of shots you can do! So it’s really up to you

Hey thanks for watching! Everything I used is linked in the description about halfway down, fat gecko triple mount and then a short + long selfie stick combined. If you’re going to be ripping around a track id probably recommend A) just the longer one or B) a more rigid diy setup Because the two attached together tend to flex a bit under hard acceleration

My thoughts were around 2m which is what i guess you were using. I'm not a fan of the fish eye look when you get to close. I like the idea of two sticks as that also gives me a few options for in car and other filming. I wont be doing.g any track work, just filming capturing the car and the stunning scenery here in NZ. Thanks for sharing you vid. Best one I've seen to explain how this works. I'll post my results here once my set up is complete. Cheers!

That sounds like a great idea! Yeah a lot of trial and error is definitely the way to go! Also (as you’ll learn when you play with it) the further you have the camera away from the subject the less fish eye look you need to get the full subject in the shot. So yeah a longer stick or combo of sticks will give you a better result, just watch out for power lines lol! Looking forward to seeing your results!!!

Just used an old GoPro Suction mount for the 3rd person view, but went really slow. Concept work well with a standard 1.2m Selfie Stick.
