Dude it was before hotfix 0.8.0.1 , now it’s impossible to do that. Torps of haku were nerfed ( 40 knots now vs 50) and much less floods. Also AA buff and no f key spam. In this build now hard to make more than 80 k, you loose planes so much. You have to use dive bombers cause torp planes have to restore. Im having now better results on midway than haku.

@@traineespark Yeah it's possible to shoot down some at lower tiers. In T10 if you face a semi-decent CV player not even DFAA saves you. I had CVs strike me through 2 DFAA activated cruisers that also spec'd in AA deparment(one of them was Worcester too). he just casually flew above them and scored hits on me, called his planes back as if nothing happened. They're broken as fuck.

Actually, the new style is way better. Balancing is bad. I play all kinds of ships, including aircraft carriers and I'd say they need to take away spotting ability from planes. They need to make AA fire shoot down less planes, but make it mess up aim of airplanes more. This way it would actually defend you, while carriers would not get deplaned so fast. Attack would not be effective and would have to be repeated or CV should choose another target. And planes should not have heal. And that's it. Such changes would make the whole thing work again. I'm of course talking about current state and not the version we see in the video :) On the other hand - I had my best game in tier IV cruiser Kuma, when there were 3 CVs in matchup and I was focused by 1 of them the whole game with another one occasionally attacking me, too. People were geting angry at CVs in chat while I was laughing and killing things.

i may hope it was recorded before the hotfix but even than CV,s are still much to powerful in the game. what i not can understand is that CV,s can launch their torps planes again and again in the sky while other types of ships have a reload time on their cannons. In a battle ships you must wait for 30 seconds before you can fire again and torps planes you can launch again directly without any delay.

You didn't play any CVs after the rework, right? Because you can NOT launch planes without any delay. It works the following: You have a number of planes on your deck, and when you launch a squad, it takes some time to make new planes ready. When you attacked your targets, all the planes that used their bombs/toros/rockets, return to the carrier and are ready to launch again as soon as they landed. The only way to stop a carrier from launching planes endlessly is by shooting the planes down

Yesterday i was play the game with a full health Nurnberg while a CV was in defence position behind a island and before i was able to shoot on him i was death even i shoot 29 planes out of the sky. In the game other ships have a delay while they change from ammunition type and it,s strange when shot down a complete squadron with torpedo planes a CV can direct launch a rocket squadron from the ship without any delay. When you see the old documentary from The Battle of Midway they did re arm the planes on deck with a different ammunition type and all that time a CV was not able to launch planes and that not happend in this game.

This replay is not right dude. How do your planes still survive after diving into 2 battleships 2 cruisers and 2 carriers? Or even if they die how do they generate instantaneously? Also when you start your attack, the timer to get ready for drop starts with 5 seconds then 4 seconds then immediately switches to 15 seconds which is the time limit for the drop. Here are some examples: 1:37 , 2:00 , 2:20 and these are just the first squadron attacks. How are ANY of these possible???? This replay has something in it...

Obviously BEFORE several fixes. You can not launch torp sqn after torp sqn, IJN sqns attack with just 2 Torp planes, not 4, AA was pretty-much non-existent at that point, no matter how many ships were around.

I think this video proves how ineffective the AA is. Sure the CVs seem OP but imagine most of the flaks hit the actual target. You can fool the flaks by constantly going up and down as he did in the video. CVs, as the game's state right now, just ruins the fun most of the time.

AA build is now just a piece of garbage and i will reconsider to just slap AA sector and invest the perk and modules to dps or tank. Luckily, I unlocked Des Moines the day after the patch went live, expecting the AA to be exceptional. Nope. The Des Moines couldn't shoot down even a single tier 8 plane with a full AA build, priority sector, and defensive AA on. At least those carriers felt a bit of pain after 8.0.1, but with 8.0.2, it feels slightly more balanced.

This is a world record that can't be broken for the whole live span of this game. +500k DMG are something that can't be achieved in random nor co-op battles. The only way to get those numbers are by being a sweater in the yearly Halloween modes. 500k dmg is something that can be achieved. Someone in a Yugumo did 592k damage in Random on the EU server, according to a stats checker.

in Helloween you can have much over 1 million dmg. you just have to ram Rasputin as a bb or shoot the cv as a cruiser (torp as a dd). Max I did was 1.7 m dmg
