just so you know, you can snap foundations to the top of the ceiling inside of your cave so foundation support is very easy for layering and for the nets on the main wall :D

When building if you need to use a ceiling because you can’t snap a foundation sink the foundation using a pillar then connect the ceiling to the sunken foundation this will make a normal foundation the same height as the ceiling
