Boothill will have great synergy with Luka. Luka can proc Boothill’s break bleeds with his enhanced basics, he’s also physical so Boothill can implant physical weakness, then Luka can shave down enemy’s large toughness bars to ensure Boothill gets the break. He’s skill point positive, his ultimate increases enemy’s dmg taken, he can equip the Penacony relic set for 10% more dmg for Boothill and the Prisoner set for personal damage, and he can equip the Resolution Shines light cone to reduce enemy DEF. He’d be an amazing Silver Wolf replacement if you don’t have her.

Having just E6’d Luka while pulling for Aventurine I was wondering how to use him best, and as I’m looking for another dps I’m really interested in Boothill now. Even though I don’t have Ruan Mei the harmony MC, Luka and Gallagher/Aventurine would be a great team for Boothill I think 🤔

Breaks aren’t affected by Crit is the reason Bronya’s buffs go to waste, but debuffs still work.

Imo, it depends on the enemy. If the enemy has a state that disables break like sam, its better to go for bronya so she can allow boothillll to break before the enemy enters that state because boothill barely does dmg if he can't break regardless if silverwolf is used. But if they don't have such mechanics silverwolf is BiS

Something I don't think he mentioned is that most of boothills dmg (85-90%) of boothills dmg is from his break dmg, so atk and dmg% buffers are kinda bad for him, I'd recommend harmony tb, ruan mei, pela or sw if you have them 👍

There is ALOT of misconceptions about Boothill and his best teams. Ruan Mei and MC both being equal in buffing long term. MC allows your supports to deal massive dmg aswell. Ruan Mei will only be really buffing Boothill while MC can allow your Gallagher and Asta if built for BE to hit high numbers. So if you don't have Ruan Mei then Asta or Hanya are a good replacement. Build them for full break effect and SPD. Both providing their own dmg to make up for the dmg lose without Ruan Mei aswell as helping reach SPD breakpoints for your Boothill. (This is all with MC on the team) Alternatively you can use Luka/Sushang/Silver Wolf as sub dps if your Boothill reaches the SPD requirements. All 3 deal amazing break dmg already and I have seen a SW deal 250k when built for break dmg. Sw also buffs Boothills overall dmg a SMALL bit more than Ruan Mei. Ruan Mei making Boothills breaks deal like 35% more dmg while Silver Wolfs is lower but she also provides her own dmg, helps with breaking, and buffs his basic and ult dmg. My team for Boothill is fully built and waiting. I only have 217 BE on my Boothill bc I have a terrible BE stat on my orb and body. Working on getting those up. The team is Boothill, Asta, MC, and Gallagher. All have good break effect without sacrificing SPD. Asta is at 160 SPD and only 120 BE. She is running Bronya LC so she has 125% energy regen in battle bc of her e4 passive. She also gives the extra SP so she can spam skill every turn. MC will be giving his buffs to make her deal good break dmg aswell as Gallagher buffing her dmg with Besotted. If I get bored of Asta I plan to use Ruan Mei or a sub dps option like Sushang/Luka/SW. Maybe my 240% BE Guin aswell. Ruan Mei to me feels more valuable on another team since Boothill already deals loads of dmg so I feel she is more of a QoL improvement in some cases but in others can hinder his dps. Entirely depending on how fast he can stack passive dispite her action delaying.

@@soapyphie You could definitely do that. You'll just have maybe inconsistencies with her ult uptime. I haven't tried it with an energy regen planar set yet. So e4 plus the set can give you 20% energy regen which is enough I believe. You just lose out on like 32 break effect. I may try without both and just e4 to see if I can keep the ult up.

@@soapyphie From my testing in the current MoC without Bronya LC she is 1 turn off from permanent ult uptime. I was using Dance Dance Dance instead. I could alternately use s5 Meshing Cogs for energy aswell. I typically save that LC for my Tingyun. So the 115% ERR is fine but you'll be a bit slow on the ult. Silver Wolf is amazing already with Boothill. She provides alot to his team and can also be built for Break Effect. Her only downside is energy issues. Before e1 at 164 SPD she can't constantly have her ult up either. On the bright side though Boothill delays action with his ult so her debuff will stay longer since their turn won't come often.

He can only break once per enemy shield, so he needs to still be able to deal good damage while his opponents are already broken. Which is why harmony trailblazer is so good because their ult makes Boothill's hits deal both his break dmg as well as the damage from his enhanced basic if I remember correctly

I would go with the one with more break effect, you can clearly see the damage contribution from his breaks, which literally contributes to the most amount of damage, and crit damage doesn't play a factor in break damage, so I'd aim for higher break effect... Leave crit damage from relics, he is already at 200% from his passives, and use a crit rate body, with as much speed and break effect as possible

Why did u pull for aventurine E1 if u r a f2p and just started a month ago with dr. Ratio as ur only main dps. As a veteran i advise u avoid pulling eidolons and even lightcones if u r complete f2p until u fill ur roster with characters Focus on Characters>Lightcones>Eidolons>super imposition Until u get two strong well built teams that can carry u through Moc12 and pure fiction and simulated universe as well as reaching equilibrium 6 world with trailblazer level 65+ Focus on getting as many characters as u can that r also in synergy with ur already earned 5 stars. Trust me ik ppl say waifu over meta but if u first get enough chars that help u clear content u can then focus on ur fav chars. For example u want aventurine but u can also get acheron. In this scenario u gain most value from acheron than aventurine bcoz she can brute force any difficult challenges in game at this point with insane dps that other dps units cant even come close to. If u got any other doubt ask away

From what I heard, there are only two things he wants from a light cone: break effect and speed. There's only a few Hunt light cones that can give that, a 3 star one for speed, and if you use Aventurine or a shielder, there's a gacha 4 star Yanqing LC that gives speed and crit

His light cone is incredibly underwhelming. Only 10% damage increase must be an all time low for a signature. Also only bad eidolons, I wanted him to be good, but he screams filler and HYVs step child 😢

@@edmilsonestephan7671 nah, "action advance can be ok" offhandedly mentioned compared to "the best possible thing you can do for boothill is give him more turns". he has no need to micromanage crit and attk buffs so it nullifies bronya's downside. more turns also means he builds his stacks extremely quickly to negate his issue with 1 + 2 fodders.
