You have to get hit first, and the law player is taking a super risk doing that. If you block the ws4 into 3+4 or f1. Law is -14 and -9. Law got combo damage just like everyone else for the first time, since tag2, and now he's back to how he was in T7. It was an unnecessary nerf. That's like nerfing PEWGF damage. It doesn't make sense.

This is a mandatory change. In T8 it's kind of a rule that guaranteed hits during standing frames get scaled by 0.7. like stun links for example scale too. Law's stuff was not supposed to do 100% dmg in that system. It's like if Jin's kankan would do 25 dmg after ch 4 trade instead of 13.

Went from S tier top 10 char to A+. He is still very strong..Frames and amazing pressure untouched, slides into nunchaks untouched,10 frames CH launcher and insane heat untouched.. one of the fastest heatsmash in the game untouched, launching nunchaks in heat that can almost not be punished, have great range and track like crazy untouched etc..

This is a GOOD change, wym? They’ve made a lot of great decisions in improving the game lately. They made DSS easier by removing the skill barrier and now they’re seeing “Ok we need to tone down the damage cuz ppl are struggling too much against this braindead character.” Which is how it should be. The easier the input, the less reward for it. Next, they nerfed Azucena’s broken WR3,2. It can be sidestepped now, and it’s -4 on block. This is huge because it allows for actual counterplay. Speaking of counterplay- they spent this entire patch for allowing extra frames for throw breaks, nerfed the crap out of the fraudulent four (Jun, Drag, Devil Jin, and Azu), buffed the three weakest characters (Zafina, Leroy, and Bryan), and are constantly communicating with their audience to fix bugs and glitches, plus keep them updated on new content. Yes, not everything Bamco does is perfect. But give the workers a LITTLE credit.

I agree with the WS4 nerf where the second hit gets scaled to 70%. Most characters in the game where they had a CH move lead to a guaranteed combo follow up, the follow up was always scaled at 70%. It didn't make sense that a few characters in the game like Law or Drag could keep their 100% scaling for the follow up while the rest of the cast had the 70% scaling.

I only just started trying out law and from what i understand I think he’s meant to have lower damage overall but have very good pokes and tools, the 1000 cuts character or soemthing like that, but perhaps those types of roles are left behind in tekken 7 cause feng isnt meant to have great damage either or xiaoyu

that was in t7, he doesnt have good pokes anymore, because they nerfed his good low poke (db3) it used to be +4 and -12 on block (like most low pokes) it is now only +3 (wich means you cant even midcheck safely after you land the poke) and is -13 wich means you can get punished hard (into wall splat, wall explosion) or even combo punished in some instance so there you go, up until t7 he was a staple poke character, not anymore

how do you play post patch when new patch is out?

Some people who have both ps5 and steam just dont update on one of their machines and they can record on the old patch

This is ridiculous makes me not wanna play this game anymore, he was actually balanced really well yet they gave some characters buffs that needed to be nerfed. Honestly I’m just deleting this game today
