I feel like this pokemon has very limited play this season despite the buffs. So many mud slappers, clod being all over the place, dark threats like mandi and malamar and for what? In terms of relevant pokemon, its targets are few and far between.

I used this team today before seeing your video and I was very succesful but I used non-shadow A-Marowak. I made this team because searched for counters of meta. If you check pvpoke, everyone looses either against clodsire, mandibuz or gastrodon and this team effectively counters them.

I used the Alola version, but have a Kanto shiny shadow version with rank 12 IV and mud slap shreds, and having rock slide (even if now not as good) gives some cover for Mandibus, and found it much better. With Dewgong and ferrothorn I went 15-0, and I’m rubbish at batting.

Jonk have u tried amoongus with astonish buff I am having some great wins with it as a closer and it walls claud plus has a positive match up into azu with shield or energy advantage! I use a shadow hundo bc it’s my only one I’m loving it

If I remember correctly you can’t subdue it by yourself. That makes it almost impossible to solo unless you have multiple lv50 hard counters
