Not sure why but, when these first came out we always called them "turtle backs." We had the other versions and these just got named turtle backs in our motor pool. Funny how military vehicles get their names when first introduced to active duty units.

Hey Sir. I actually drove this exact same Hummer in Norway during cold weather training. We tried putting chains on it, but that didn't work. This Hummer is called the armored vehical. Basically it's for transporting ammo or ammunition. Nice Hummer man. I was in the Marines. Take care sir

It really depends on how you drive it. More power means you will end up getting into it a bit more however about 50% better for a rough figure.

That's a sweet rig, And that light bar on top of the front bumper is Baja Designs OnX 6, 20-inch light bar, not a 30. The easy way to remember which one they are is by the number of lights in them, and every 6 bulbs equates to 10 inches.

Yes it can however we prefer ceramic coating. With wax, it fills in the valleys and gets buffed off at the peaks. Ceramic wears evenly. Thanks and great question!!!

Having seen similar finishes on other vehicles I'd say yes, but this one looks a lot more smooth and non porous. Obviously I'm just seeing it through a camera but it looks much easier to clean than others.

0 to 60 in 8 minutes. Wait i mean it only goes 40 so 0 to 40 in like 6 minutes. And 1 mpg. But a 50 gallon tank so you should get about 50 miles per fill up.
