Dude, I'm still trapped in Dallas. I'm trying to do animation, but I keep getting rejections everywhere I apply. I've been researching the "trade" jobs and trade schools. Is it difficult being an electrician? Is it worth it in relation to the salary and risks? I' will run out of money in a few months. I'm also the only one with a car right now because my mother's truck was totaled back in May, so I've been driving my parents around everywhere. I'm still dealing with my dizziness as well. I understand trying to get life together. You are doing better than me. I'm trying to figure out if trades is worth it. I know I won't like it, but I need some money. I'm trapped.

Go work in retail or food industry to get some income. If you decide to go to trade school, don't do anything automotive related. You'll owe $30k+ in student loans if you go to UTI. Automotive service industry is terrible, most folks want out but are trapped. Keep cars as a hobby on the side.

Then, I got super lucky and I was contacted by Deck Nine Games. i worked with them as a junior animator from December 2021 to May 2023. I was laid off. Layoffs are happening everywhere and jobs are limited. It really sucks. It was nice to have some money for once in my life, but now it's going down again.
