My plan... I think ppl are really missing the opportunity of having a 5 color eldrazi commander. I want to get this deck and combine it with my Zhulodok deck. This is meant to be a go wide deck and there are so many ways to take advantage of stuff. Add chimil the inner sun, your spells can't be countered, add asceticism, your creatures have hexproof, add akromas memorial and you already get eldrazi monument. Add doubling season for a ton of tokens. Add roaming throne, and abstruse archaic to triple your cast triggers, so you make a ton of tokens that are protected, you triple your cast triggers, so Zhulodok cascades 6 times when triggered, and with ulallek as the commander EVERYTHING gets doubled.

I think you can't cascade 6 times with zhulodok, that's a static ability

@@Phzmcm it's a cast trigger. So I cast a card that triggers it. Abstruse archaic copy's the trigger, and ulallek copies the trigger as well. I play an upgraded Zhulodok and I've done this with abstruse archaic and mirage mirror creating a copy of the archaic.

I may be in the wrong here, but from what I've read, zhulodok has 2 instances of cascade but the ability isn't double cascade itself. And thusly gives only 4 cascade triggers when copied instead of 6. Frankly, I hope I'm wrong on that so if I am please do lmk so I can break my deck even further 😅

This commander deck is honestly such a full circle moment for me. 8 ish years ago back when I was a wee lad in highschool, i tried making a scion/spawn themed deck in standard to hard cast emrakul for the win con. I'm so excited to se a commander made specifically to enable scion/spawn strategies. I'm going to include trigger copy cards like abstruse archaic, zhulodok, strionic resonator, and lithoform engine. Double token creation cards could be fun too!

Some people had unreal expectations from this deck. I love it! I already have a Zhulodok deck so I'll take it apart to splice it together with this one and the newer cards. Morophon + Fist of Suns + any flash enabler = surprise fun for the rest of the table!

To be honest I would go with less flash and more big eldrazi things. I love the titans effects, and doubling up on those would make smashing your way through so easy, add lord effects like coat of arms and stuff like that. More cost reduction through urzas incubator, and get good use of the typal effects from the 5 colors. I know it’s all a bit basic but I love it.

I’d like to get this deck because I don’t have an Eldrazi deck yet. The colorless aspect kept me away, but now with access to all colors I’m starting to get interested. My first deck I built was WUBRG so those decks have a soft spot in my heart. Eldrazi seem pretty fun so I’d like to try them out and doing so without dropping $180 would be *chef’s kiss*.

I have not played Eldrazi's before, and I am not so experienced enough to know exactly what cards to change in the deck, but I would add the other Eldrazi Titans to replace any of the not so desired cards in the deck.

Remember ulalek will copy your cast triggers too. It's easy to go infinite with flash enabled spawn makers if that's your interest too.

I have wanted to build 5 color Eldrazi for forever now. I was going to build it when Golos Was around, but by the time I got around to doing it, Golos got banned. I'm very excited to see what possibilities this deck will hold. Hopefully some new and fun (possibly broken) synergies will come from this.

I'm building Ulalek eventually. First adds to the deck are Echoes of Eternity, Roaming Throne, Annie Joins Up, and Delney...all allow his to trigger twice meaning the first paid will copy the other on the stack. Essentially allowing you to copy the stack as many times as you can afford to do so. Also adding Spawn-gang Commander. If you have any of the effects that double Ulalek triggers (or and instant in hand to get another trigger on the stack) cast Spawn-Gang Commander, trigger Ulalek and Spawn-Gang, let the doubled Ulalek trigger resolve first copying the Spawn-Gang cast trigger and the original Ulalek Trigger, let the copy of the goblin resolve creating the spawns, sac the spawn to pay the copied Ulalek trigger, repeat. It's infinite Spawn, infinite colorless mana, and an infinite damage outlet once the Goblin is on the field. Hard to explain through text but...yes it works lol.

I will say that back in the day I built a very illegal eldrazi deck that was ran off of urza lands and cloudposts. As far as this new deck I think it's a very solid start but would definitely add some things like darksteel monolith, that way you can get the bigger eldrazi out fast and definitely add some things to play off the Commander to really ramp things up fast.

The combination of two big eldrazis are insane! And it's effect is hilarious. Definitely adding some cascade triggers, nyxbloom ancient, and definitely some things to make ulalek even funnier like helm of the host. 🤣

There are a couple of ways I would go with this deck. Building into the 5-color theme would maximize the power potential of the deck, especially if the best options for green ramp, red removal, black graveyard interactions, white token multiplication and flash abilities, and blue control interactions were incorporated. The land base could also be flushed with more efficient and more powerful options with each color. In this iteration of the deck I would diverge from traditional deck composition proportions using 30 total creatures, 7 sorceries, 7 instants, 5 enchantments, 18 artifacts, 1 planeswalker, and 32 lands with representation from all points on the mana curve in order to consistently play cards throughout the game. The other direction I would go towards would be a pure colorless option. The eldrazi titan cards would be very powerful if all incorporated into the deck and assisted by an optimal artifact composition including options like dark steel monolith and thran dynamo. With this option I would also diverge from the traditional deck composition proportions using 28 total creatures, 7 sorceries, 6 instants, 24 artifacts focusing on mana, 2 enchantments, 1 planeswalker, and 1 battle with more representation on the high and low ends of the mana curve to push for high mana early to get the titans on the board. Either way, you can’t go wrong with harnessing the power of the eldrazi to annihilate anything that stands in your path

Ive already commented before for my chance to win the deck, so this is just a normal comment. But to further make my point about not needing the Titans for the deck and instead making your own, eldrazi displacer+brood monitor+flayer drone are a 3 piece combo that probably elicits more concern. Or just displacer in general. Same goes for the new eldrazi angel that makes scions and spawns into 4/4s. That thing is arguably scarier than emrakul because it drops like a bomb in a go wide cannon fodder deck. Broodbutcher is also a scary thing to consider because of its ability to give -2/-2 and if you have your mana fixed with world tree, chromatic lantern, leyline of the guildpact, etc etc, to pay the golgari activation you can machine gun the board. The titans are fun and obviously good, but costly inserts. Both their flavor inclusion and abilities instill concern, but the deck itself already has a aura to it, much like Slivers in my opinion, of kill on site. Eldrazi are like the flood from Halo. They unify a group to bring them down. If you want to enjoy being the archenemy from the moment the commander is whipped out on the table for set up, because you have the titans, thats fine. If you have a pod like mine that has a stigma about how much of a pain the deck will be, NOT including the titans and winning in a not so "kill on site" way is funner in my eyes.

If I got this deck I would love to run the alternate commander Azlask, the swelling scourge. My idea is to just run the board with lots of scion tokens and token doublers and just have a fun token deck to play with friends if I were to win this. but love the new deck and what they are bringing forth to magic. I love seeing a commander that will be able to benefit the little guys!

Never owned an eldrazi deck, so this would meet that want. I do think the commander is unique among the other options. Usually we see a really big power/toughness but this is different. I think variety for the eldrazi players can be fun.

I've always been fascinated and wanted to build an Eldrazi commander deck, they're all so cohesive, powerful, and scary in ways other decks can't compare. I'd definitely throw in some older Eldrazis to possibly beef it up even more even though it's already beefy out the gate, and even though it's not an Eldrazi I think a Soul of New Phyrexia would be nice for its give everything indestructible ability to add a tiny bit of the scary effect

This is the deck im looking forward to the most out of these new ones! I absolutely love the eldrazi, though i can never afford to keep up with their cost. Its hard to say which card id remove, theres a lot of good cards in this deck. Regardless of who comes out, id have to make room for at least one of the big titas, preferably Emrakul Aeons Torn! That flying annihilator is just too good to deny!

Twisted Landscape specifies "BASIC" in the sacrifice effect. You cannot go get triomes or duals. Also the counter removal one is a bit of a nonbo if you have experience counters from the swelling scourge.

A change I would make is removing Oblivion Sower because I don’t love the play pattern of exiling cards from opponents’ libraries, and I’d substitute it with Forsaken Monument because I’ve been WRECKED by that card online and want to use it’s power for my own glory!!

WUBRG. While I would'nt put Jodah cuz it messes with the theme of the deck. I'd instead use Fist of Suns as its an artifact (so its fair game) and it does the exact same thing

I really like the idea of five color eldrazi so I would probably add cards like jodah and fist of suns so you can cast your eldrazi for cheap then copy there abilities with your commander so I would probably cut some worse mana rocks like dreamstone hedron

I was a little disappointed at first that it didn't have any titans. But I can absolutely see this deck building towards that mid range play. You don't need titans if you have big eldrazi, I love the fact that the new legendary eldrazi is literally what I predicted. Though I thought it was gonna duplicate off of devoid spells not eldrazi. The triggered ability and activated ability is just the cherry on top. Zhulidok will be an obvious include. :)

Eldrazi continue to be one of my favorite Kindred types. When I first built an Eldrazi commander, I was so new to the game I misunderstood how to build it, and built a 5-Color Ulamog deck. I want to go the same way your building but an add I think would be great for your brew would be isochron scepter for the kindred spells! It makes the kindred spells repeatable and if you want you can make it combo. But even without comboing having an unwinding clock/seedborn muse untap the scepter with mana rocks +flash makes it so you can cast and copy eldrazi during each players turn!

Adding more to my first comment.. Belbe's portal would be good to add to this deck as the variety of eldrazi's don't need to be cast to activate their abilities like the old titans. Then add things like "If That Betrays" in combination with Azlask to make tale control with eldrazi scions with their annihilator 1. It'd also be interesting to add Akroma's memorial and Eldrazi monument to give them protection, haste, and other abilities on top of that. Descendant's Path would be nice to cheat creatures in as well. And a fun win con or at the very least very close to one would be a Genesis Wave for the ramp this deck definitely has and put creatures, land, and more mana rocks/lands onto the battlefield. As with my previous suggestion, Helm of the Host on Ulalek is broken beyond belief. Adding further would be Omniscience or Ugin, the Spirit Dragon to exile colored spells or get stuff out for free. This deck is so versatile for the WUBRG on whichever commander is chosen that there's probably so many others I missed to just have fun with the deck.

I've never really had an Eldrazi deck but this one is the most exciting I've seen and I would love to bring it to my playgroup, my one card swap would be to drop Ulamog's Crusher and put in my favorite Eldrazi, Rapacious One, it would be such a value engine in this deck, really fueling all the mana we would need for the higher-cost stuff or the commander ability. Crusher is a good card but I find it a bit boring, I'd rather hit something higher cost and more interesting or lower cost and leave mana for other stuff.

So, for my build for Ulalek, I decided to lean fully into Annihilator triggers, with a bit of cost reduction on the side. Ulalek being 5 colors means that I get to run both Isshin and Wulfgar to get a total of 3x the Annihilator triggers. I've also got Mutated Cultist to insta-empty a Dark Depths(also, you said the Cultist can save you from a death to infect, but it only removes counters from opponents if you decide to target a player)

Definately gonna focus on Azlask, using blink effects for the eldrazi that make scions on ETB. Gonna throw pawn of ulamog in there and add some sac as well to really rake up experience counters. A small side theme, I wanna add the eldrazi that can put exiled cards into opponents graveyard so I can interact with players plot, fortell, and suspend cards.

Add Swiftfoot Boots, Lavaspur Boots, Lightning Graves for protection, lean more on reducing the cost with Eye of Ugin, Cloud Key or Urza's Incubator. It will be godd to add some token doublers if we will go the small eldrazi route like Doubling season, Mondrak, Glory Dominus or Anointed Procession (It will also double the commander's activated ability). I wish that I win because I want to present this deck to my boyfriend, he is obsessed with eldrazi.

I think the plan that I most want to do is to play the really big eldrazi (I don't think I'm alone) so I'm going to remove anything under 8 mana which isn't either ramping or drawing cards. I'd replace it with a Green Land Ramp package and some repeated draw (Up the Beanstalk etc.) One of the obvious cuts for me is Morophon. He doesn't help play for the big eldrazi and is expensive at 7 mana. The fun card I'd add would be the new Echoes of Eternity. An obvious addition given it is an Eldrazi enchantment but copying this with the commander will make the next turn really really stupid.

Love all the cast triggers of eldrazi and really like the fact that you can copy all your spells and Abillities on stack as you said i think flash is very important with this and from that on i think you can add a lot of the old eldrazi and it would be a great deck!

I'd take out the wack eldrazi that switches attack and defense and slap a roaming throne and mask wood nexus. I know it's tribal but it's to make them specifically eldrazi spawns/ scion so you can just give them an extra annihilator with azlask. And with roaming throne just cause chaos

I think I would go for Azlask and focus on using changelings and scion token producers because Ulalek feels a little too slow to set up from my perspective. But if I stuck with Ulalek I'd definitely take inspiration from the karn prison deck in modern and make it into a colorless ramp/prison type of deck with artifacts to slow down my opponents gameplay like chalice of the void, ensnaring bridge, etc. and use the big eldrazi spells as board wipes/control most likely.

The Eldrazi are amazing!! I love the lore behind them in which they’re considered the immune system of the multiverse. An eldritch horror that comes to destroy your plane when it starts to threaten the rest of the multiverse. The commander to use is definitely Azlask😩 I’m looking to put the Kozilek I pulled at prerelease into it. I recently got back into Magic after a long hiatus, and my friends used to have a strong tron deck with the original titans😤

I think I saw someone else saying this - but I think the most direct upgrade to this deck is taking a lot of what the Zhulodok deck does and adding that to this. With the addition of color ramping opening up options to hit that higher mana even faster.

I think a fun addition to put in would be like "minthara, merciless soul" and "Othari, sun's glory" since they care about experience counter from the second eldrazi commander. Imagine creating a army of rebels on attack or just having you army of scions get a passive +X/+0 equal to your exp.

I would really love for them to enhance this deck by adding some titans. It's quite disappointing that they chose to exclude Emrakul, the inclusion of such powerful and iconic cards could significantly improve the deck's overall strength and appeal. Emrakul, in particular, brings a unique and formidable presence to the game, and its absence is certainly felt. It would be fantastic if future updates or editions of this deck could incorporate these titans to give players a more complete and satisfying experience.

I would run Azlask as the face commander. I would add Nettle Drone, pitiless plunderer, and cutthroat as creatures. As for artifacts, id add urza's incubator not much else needed there. Enchantments Moldervine Reclamation is a must. Lands are pretty decent but id ditch any an all etb tapped to pain lands or fetches add more wastes though.

@@SouthernSorcery even with the face commander id still run Nettle drone. taps to deal a damage then untapping when you cast a colorless spell. so now in that commander will have 2 of those effects. but i would also still run moldervine rec and even possibly add an ashnods alter.

I plan to shave out all the other colors but green, and just run dryad, prismatic omen, and chromatic lantern to get access to the 5 colors needed. That way I can just run a solid green ramp package.

Thanks for the great video, honestly my First focus was on Ulalek, but after i red the second Commander ability i was all in. Just make a ton of scions and attack. You dont really meed the experience counter, because annihalator will trigger anyway. Unfortunately, in Commander, the guy who plays such deck, will be hard focussed 😂

I haven’t thought too deeply about what I’d do with the deck, but adding 4-5 ways to cast eldrazi at instant speed is definitely something I would add. Also shoutout to Twins of Discord, so many bad jokes to come lol

I have always wanted to build a tribal deck with some of the "Kindred" cards, but it really seems like this is one of the few tribes where you can include them all! Especially 'Kindred Discovery', 'Kindred Dominence' & 'Kindred Charge'. It seems like potential for HUGE payoffs!

Mutated Cultist is worded that it can only remove counters from a permanent or opponent , it would not save you from infect as you can not target your self.

Personally both commanders for this deck are strong but what I really wanna do is use Azelak to go super wide with smaller dudes. It seems so fun to make a bunch of small guys be the biggest threat at the table. Basically just including token doublers (playing 5 color). Seems fun.

Azlask is probably my favorite of the 2 commanders, he’s pretty low to the ground and experience counters are fun. Not sure what all I’d take out, but I’d definitely add experience counter support, most notably Othari, Sun’s Glory who is my favorite Boros commander

I'm not gonna front I would have Morophon as the commander instead of the other two. The value is too good. You can run things like Chromatic Orrery and Lantern for color mana as needed and just a lot of artifact ramp since Morophon would handled the colored mana. The fact that Morophon comes in the deck makes this a lot easier to accomplish.

I definitely want to run ulalek he's so cool and flashy. It would be very funny to put in the new mh3 card echoes of eternity. You can copy it with ulalek because its kindred eldrazi and now every eldrazi spell and trigger can be copied 3 times! Azlask is super cool too i would want to pick up from beyond immediately to get another consistent source of spawn tokens. I think it culd be cool to add some populate cards since you are in 5 color. Honestly cayth would be fun in the 99 to make all your eldrazis also create servos that can be sacrificed to get exp counters from azlask.
