I like using vintage lenses on modern cameras and then using film look a like presets. It's the best of both worlds. I've gotten really good at manually focusing with a mirrorless camera.

For me the camera mounted flash give a great 70's aesthetic. There's an intimacy with that flash, like taking pictures of a family member or close friend/lover in your/their home. I certainly get having a case of the jibblies with film types! PS- TV aquarium FTW!

Lovely photographs. Film really pushes a photographer to stop, think, compose and produce great photographs against the convenience and limitless shot capacity of digital. Be honest, if you had your digital, how many would you have shot. 200, 250, 300 exposures?

Film was fun, proof it first with Polaroid ;) When you feel comfortable, try slide film - less latitude.
