When you mentioned that the guitar hadn't done much yet, early in the song, it made me laugh hard. Just so you know, when Geddy says the Cleveland audience was the best one ever, he really meant it, it was the first and last time he ever said it. He said once in an interview that he never said any audience was the "best ever" because he saw so many bands doing it at every show (like KISS when they toured with them) that it was too disingenuous. But Cleveland, Ohio was the city that put RUSH on the United States prog-rock map and Rush felt they owed Cleveland audiences their career in some way. To them, Cleveland will always be the best audience ever. Even though it might be argued that audiences like the one in Rio (Vapor Trails tour early 2000's) were the most appreciative, energetic and best audience ever in terms of their sheer delight and love for Rush. As Rush never knew how BIG they were in Brazil and it took Rush nearly 30 years to finally tour Brazil. If you haven't yet, check out the Rush's song YYZ LIVE IN RIO.

What Alex does later in the song really surprised me, that was great

I was astonished the first time I saw the guitar and bass duel in the middle of the song! As for Neil's look of concentration, he once said playing in Rush was like running a marathon while doing mathematical equations. This particular song, 'Working Man' actually was on their first album, before Neil joined the band, which means Geddy wrote the lyrics! It was an especially important song for Cleveland, Ohio: A DJ on a Cleveland radio station, Donna Halper, played the song, which basically started Rush's career in the United States. Donna is a beloved figure within the Rush fandom. She is an interesting person; she got her PhD at age 65 and became a media studies professor. She also has remained friends with Rush for decades. While Neil wrote most of the lyrics after he joined Rush, there is a beautiful song that Geddy wrote called 'Different Strings.' I don't think they ever performed it live, so if you do react to it, I suggest a lyric video version.

Every Rush show was amazing! From the 1st time I saw them open for Kiss, up to the last shows. 😔 We didn't know it would be the last. 🙏🏿 RIP Professor 🥰🐰

They played with this commitment and intensity on every tour. Yet there was something special about the Time Machine tour. Magic!

I think my favorite live performances for now are Live in Rio and Cleveland, both of them have a lot of energy from the crowd and the band itself. Thanks for watching

Not too shabby for a bunch of geriatrics lol. Geddy and Alex were both 58 and Neil was 59 but they produce a sound that a 5 man band half their age would have a hard time replicating. 😊

Working Man was a song that a radio DJ in Cleveland played so that she could go for a pee break! It became their first hit! This live version is pure encore fun!

Hard to believe that this was the encore to a 3 hour concert. Not bad for three guys in their mid 50's! Actually, Geddy and Alex have performed together since 2015, for benefit concerts, but obviously with different drummers. ☮

This is the last song in a three hour show. Alex's arthritis is really bothering him at this point, yet all three are giving it their all to close the show.

Didn't know he had arthritis, makes this even more impressive and shows their integrity for music

I love Rush but personally I don’t care for the studio version,, and it doesn’t have Neil Peart. This is my fav version.
