I no this post is old but the answer to that is YES i found out 2 days ago I text drive a MK7 R golf stage 3 460BHP and it was shit,got back into my 388bhp 428ft/lb and mine felt savage compared to the MK7

These cars come with upgraded rods compared to the GTI and they have forged pistons. GTI's are known to take up to 450 FTLBS of torque before rods start to potentially bend. The Golf R internals theoretically handle more than this. I looked far and wide and couldn't find anybody that had ever bent a rod on one of these. Even this guy in Australia that made 500 WHP ran many 10 second 1/4 mile passes on his and never bent a rod. I did my internals and head because it seemed like a good idea, but if you're on a budget you can probably get away without doing anything.

@@jedediahsmart569 would that also be the same for the TTS 8J and Scirocco R as both run the tfsi CDL engine with the same 268bhp. Pretty sure it would be the same for all 3 of these motors, mk6 golf r, 8j TTS and scirocco r

On their website they only show their stage 2 software but doesn't say it needs a turbo swap to reach the advertised 450 bhp. Customer service wants me to call them even though I told them I'm located in the middle East...

Hi Ahmed. if you link us to it we can help here :) the TFSI engine requires HPFP and LPFP along with all stage 2 hardware for stage 2+ then the turbo added to reach the 450bhp figure
