As a viewer and player, i gotta say the juggling mechanic for combos really takes me out of Tekken since Tekken 6. What about these alternatives? Keep the juggling as the main combo damager but keep the juggling timing a lot shorter so it doesn't look like a fucking beach volleyball game (no pun intended on the actual Tekken Volleyball.) Don't have light punches (1) allow a juggle, because that shit looks ridiculous when a small punch is keeping a body in the air for like 2 seconds. Or, instead of juggling, have attacks that stun your opponent in the ground and allow for big damage combos on the ground. As an alternative, look at air combos in MvC. They can be just as damaging but it feels more frenetic because the input is shorter, and the characters aren't floating in the air like a balloon. Just some random ideas on a Sunday afternoon.

I find it incredible that everyone is complaining about Dragunov - he really doesn't look that strong in this game. It looks to me like once you know his match up, you can exploit him quite easily. Brian is a difficult character to learn and alot of people have put him in upper mid, but he looks much more dangerous here than Dragunov to me. His combos actually finish rounds whereas Dragunov looks like he doesn't quite have a sequence to finish you off. Sometimes I wonder if people just like to complain for the sake of it.

Dragonuv before the recent patch was obviously the best character in the game. He has the most TWT wins out of the whole cast, meanwhile Bryan hasn’t received even one win in the TWT. Bryan may be in the top ten category but nobody is flocking to use him in tournaments unlike Dragunov. Considering the recent patch: despite that Drag is still a top 3 character we’ll probably see an equal amount Yoshi’s, Nina’s, and Drag’s.

Bryan isn't top ten wtf. Knee has been playing Bryan ever since... Well ever since. Of course if you can land perfect inputs, find timings for taunt, and have perfect oki reads then yes, Bryan will dominate. Bryan has a guaranteed defense opener with taunt like I said with perfect input, but it takes time to open that can too. Knee read Ulsan, and had solid mind games, but that doesn't make Bryan scarier than Drago. Drag is the frame advantage monster with easy inputs, much easier to excel with him than Bryan.
