Yeah this game was actually recorded the night before new years so it was the christmas event. And yeah the song is SO GOOD I genuinely edited 2 minutes of this video using a different song at first and eventually gave in and switched it for fire and thunder because it's SO SO SOOO GOOD for this kind of video :)

I noticed that you can block with your sword and when I do that is pulls out a shield do you know why?

That's because you're playing on a newer version of minecraft. For hypixel, you want to play on minecraft version 1.8.9, where blocking your sword was still in the game, and then you can do it. Hypixel is also 1.8.9 based I think so everything should be better on that version :)
