I have to google Australian fish whenever I see something similar to what we have over here. Saltwater fishing is the best, it's like we're all fishing in the same big ass lake

Nice work Bowly leaving the reefies, the best approach is keep whatever you catch and leave once you've got what you need within the limits. If a fish (not just jewies) has barotrauma so severe it's prolapsed its stomach it's pretty much a 100% mortality rate.

Another terrific session; thanks for taking us along. I have a couple of questions: 1. Whenever you have fished this long, massive jetty, you have always focused on the structure at the end that's farthest from shore. But, can the middle and inner sections be productive at times, or is the offshore end of the jetty always better? 2. When fishing rough ground (or snaggy pilings/pylons) and toothy species here in the States, we often use a relatively light (20- to 30-lb.), multi-strand wire leader. But I've don't think I've ever seen you, Matt, or Briggsy do that. Is there reasons you don't? I admit that the added visibility may decrease my strike rate somwhat, but I find that it can also INCREASE my catch rate. Keep up the great work, Chris (Maine, USA)

You had some brutal hookups. I was wishing you had a little heavier gear to get those big boys away from the structure. Another great video and very enjoyable. 👍👍

I think you’d be surprised the quality of fish you can catch on a PE3 setup. The spin setup I am using to fish the squids in this video is PE3 👍🏼
