INSANE New Features in Assassin's Creed Shadows!

We just got MASSIVE details about Assassins Creed Shadows. And one BRAND NEW feature could genuinely make this the best game in the franchise.
Fresh gameplay shown at Ubisoft Forward has highlighted exactly how both of the protagonists play styles can work together.
Yasuke (YUSKAY) is huge and wields destructive weapons like the new blunt-force (KA-NAH-BOW) Kanabo. Naoe (NAH-WAY) is more nimble and can traverse faster using a grappling hook that doubles as a rapid-fire weapon. Swapping between the two in the open world offers insane playstyle variety.
But that’s not all we learned!
Scouting locations has been streamlined. A brand new feature lets you recruit an entire spy network. You’ll use your spies to locate your targets and gather the intel you need to take them out..
Both characters can destroy most environmental elements . So, yes, it’s definitely possible to blast through those shoji doors to get to enemies.
But Ubisoft also revealed all new stealthy opportunities for taking enemies by surprise.
Crawling through grass and snow keeps you out of sight but laying flat in shallow water is now possible by using a bamboo breathing tube!
By far the greatest new feature though is creating shadows to vanish into by extinguishing light sources. This feels like Assassins Creed winding the clock back to its stealthy roots while also mixing in easily the best graphics and gameplay in the franchise so far!

As a Japanese, I don't like this game. It bothers me that UBI says this game is based on historical fact, but I don't feel like I can concentrate on playing this game. The scenery, dialogue, characters, everything has a mysterious atmosphere that is not Japanese. I watched a japanese KZbinr earlier analyzing this game, and to think that UBI not only got yasuke wrong but even the culture, the plants existing at the same time despite that they exist in two different seasons, and historical facts about samurais. He did said that samurais only wear their armor when there's war, and seeing the trailer for this game, Yasuke walking around with his armor through a peaceful village who should be running away from the sight of a samurai but they're not, it is funny. I really don't mind Yasuke but UBI getting so many things wrong about Japan is too much 😅

This could POTENTIALLY be up there with one of the best assassin’s creed games not the best considering how amazing the past ones were, AC2 and 3 are both there, Ezio defined what it meant to be a member of the creed, Connor was the definition of hard work and one of the strongest and most resilient alongside his grandfather and Ezio. Reasons to not be excited: •this game used an account of a history consultant whose major research was finding MxM accounts in stories in history(particularly about how some Buddhist disciples become acolytes to “serve” their master and how this is frowned upon by modern society [throwing Homosexuality controversy aside, it feels wrong for a kid who grew up with priests to become their Oiran or even a form of geisha] ) • Yasuke isn’t of an assassin build. Lotta people blinded by the desire to HATE in these comments. This is also more evidence towards my hypothesis: humans have trouble with context/nuance. No duh taking out light sources has been done before. But not in an AC game. Hiding under shallow water with a bamboo breathing tube is a nice touch too. Origins is still my favorite because of the weather and sand storms and raining bugs in the desert give an awesome experience tho, so if the weather system is the way they say it will be in this game really gets my attention, remember to small hurricane like storms in black flag, that was cool,and another thing I liked was the Waves in the ocean that you had to go over head on or they would sink your ship,they should have made Odyssey with those waves too, and it's the things like that makes it feel more real like your in the game. No serious historian doubts Yasuke was a samurai. For the rest it's just a fictional story, not hard to understand that. The anti-woke crusaders have hammered for years that they would only be satisfied if the black characters in media were recorded historical figures, well look how that turned out. No black or gay or evven not purely sexual female character will not be considered 'woke' and controversial these days with calls for censorship. This whole slander campaign is organized by and for racists. Being an intimidating tank kinda figure with a type of face many people may have never seen before and almost looks as something mythical is just an interesting premise and he just looks pretty cool to me. The main question is if he was a high level servent/soldier or an actual samurai. But he was japanese (at least one of his parents were). Now black flags Edward kenway was a scottsman who worked in the caribbean. I would not call that local Edit: before I get another 20 messages: sorry I got Edwards nationality mixed up, he is welsh. I only remember the accent and in German Scottish and welsh accents are very similiar. My apologies for this error, my point still stands though (welsh is as native to the caribbean as scottish)
