The tales of korath, part 2 “Hey Korath, what did you get from the fight?” I pulled up the heavy sack I had carried with me back to my tent in front of Zadgath, my friend from beyond the wall. “ eh well, some bits of metal, helmets, some decent hardened leather with iron studs, some daggers, The spears, and swords are over their.” I pointed inside my tent. “ should make some good profit at whatever town we stop in.” Zadgath gave me a crooked smile. ‘Aye fair enough, I got myself some officer armor, course ron took all the best loot, for he needs to pay us something.” Zadgath pulled up his own heavy sack, filled with bits and pieces he had looted from the corpses of the fallen enemies.Verik soon joined us and we three sat by the fire in front of my tent, Just like every other long night before we traded stories of our lives until the sun was down and the wolves were howling in the forest. Then we said our goodbyes and headed to our tents. The next day we were up and moving again, We tagged our individual loot and put it on the wagon train, those of us not resting on horses or the wagons moved beside them, ready to jump at the call of battle. We went away, heading towards Banefort, a local castle where we could sell our stolen goods. But on our way, Ron had caught the smell of one of the iron lords, and then I saw him smile and start laughing. He looked at us, his eyes already dancing with the fires of battle and blood. “Men, leave the wagons, The iron born are in front of us, I think they have come to die on our blades and giant clubs!” he started riding off. The rest of us hurriedly left to join up with him, we left the cooks and horseholders to stay with the wagons. Us 83 men filled ron at a fast pace, we found him nearly a mile away talking to a lord, they seemed to have struck a deal, so they rode away from each other, then when they got the normal amount away, they got off their horses, charged each other. My lord Ron beat the Iron lord in only two blows. So we grinned and walked over to the now extremely nervous Iron troops, We quickly stripped them of anything valuable. While we were looting the troops, we actually found a woman among their ranks, seems she had been wanting to serve, some of Wildling's troops got some ideas about her, but after me, Zadgath and Verik cracked some skulls and bruised some bones, all unwise thoughts left their heads. Our lord Ron took the iron lordling prisoner of course, but his troops, in a strange act of kindness, let them go home to their families. We eventually got to the castle settlement. As I, Zadgath, and Verik lugged our loot to the market we noticed a couple of northern warriors, They were laughing about something, and as we got closer, we noticed they were mocking our lord Ron, saying he had never even tried to touch a iron Women, joking that he was scared of them, saying he couldn't get it up. I looked my fellows in the eyes and grunted at the northern fighters. They nodded and followed me. Moments later, after some head bashing and finger breaking we collected some more helmets and swords, which we sold to the market not 10 minutes later. We left just as we saw Lord Ron pulling his haul in a wagon, The men who ran the market were sweating now, just wondering how much cash they would be out now. We grinned, knowing they thought we were the main sellers today, oh their faces when they are wrong, they get me every time. It went on like for a couple of days until we were camping in the woods One day, I went out on patrol with Tasgath and Falka, men part of the original 13. We came upon a small pond where two women were bathing, We looked around, turned our backs, and sat ourselves on the warm grass, not a word said among us. Not 15 minutes later, two northern men and two ragged-looking mercenaries came walking up, They saw the two women and started walking faster toward them, they never saw us coming. My sword found the first man's throat, Falka sent his sword through the second man's back and Falka sent the third man’s head off his shoulders, The 4th man looked at us terrified. I looked at the man cold in the eyes. “We don’t take kindly to folk trying anything on women, especially on the campaign.” I sent my sword right through his mouth before he even had a chance to beg. We hid the bodies and finished our patrol, we never talked about what happened, for Ron would have surely gone for the head of those stupid bastard's commander and that would have caused nothing but blood and trouble. After a few weeks of running around and hunting down the odd looter band or two, we finally got a proper battle, some stupid sack of horseshit decided to raid a village while Ron was in the area, they nearly matched our number, but Ron was no coward, he would take their heads from their shoulders, we roared our battle cry as we ran towards the iron troops. Ron shot bow but twice before our main battle line crashed into theirs. We were outnumbered in the melee section as usual and this time they had some halfway decent troops, so we lost some more men than usual, but they gave a better fight than most, My sword was heavy with blood by the time the battle ended. I was more tired than usual, more so because we rushed here, so I picked up some of the battle loot and trudged back to my tent and did what every warrior does after a hard and tiring battle, I got into my sack and blacked out. Battles like this went on for a couple of weeks until we chased down a particular lord. Before this battle, Our lord Ron got off his horse and addressed us. “Now men, surely you have noticed we have been chasing a certain lord, he goes by Rodrik harlaw, and he carries a valyrian sword, now I want that sword, I want to steal it from his body, I am counting on all of you to help me knock him out and steal it from him.” we let out a cheer of agreement. Soon enough a battle followed and his lordship ended up being knocked out by a man from the Iron Isles. Ron took the sword from the iron lord, and he made him watch as he took it. I don’t think I have ever seen as much hate as that man had in his eyes at that moment. We quickly found a band of looters and Ron nearly slaughtered them singlehandedly. He was not satisfied with that, so he found us a siege battle, in which he did not let us even join in, though I guess that just means he likes keeping us alive. We watched as he slaughtered over 100 men, he looked as if he had jumped in a barrel of blood by the end of it, the mangled bodies of the defenders piled high on the walls, but at that moment as he led the charge into the keep, I know one thing for certain as I and my fellows joined him, Westeros had a new leader to fear. We knew another thing as well, we would follow our lord, our Captain unto death, for to cross him meant a brutal end to your existence. - writings of korath, part of the original 13.

Hey the thing with prisoners and troops is that when you are on the screen. There is a filter on the top left which says "custom" that can be changed to number of units, type(infantry, cavalry, etc) and most importantly tier. Ascending and descending after clicking the arrow to the right of it. Saves me a ton of time.

If you ever slide prisoners over to the left side of the screen, there is a bug that will reset their recruiting load time. I learned the hard way with about 30+ bannerknights in vanilla. You have to back out of the screen. As long as you dont accept at the end of the “troop transaction”, it wont reset the prisoner recruit time.

The tales of korath, part 1. The soldiers sat around the fire, they had just gotten out of a battle, and many new men had gotten bloodied, which was good. Their lord Ron was toughing them up for Bigger enemies, and more challenging battles, for these Iron Isle men were tough, but after so many long years at war, they had been growing softer, and weaker, throwing their younger men into a pitched battle. Now they are a fierce lot, but the issue is that we have crowsaken GIANTS on our side, I am an excellent northern man, and I have seen my fair share of living and dead things, but Giants, they are something else altogether. To tangle with a Giant is to have your head crushed, well except if your lord Ron, He has a giant's strength and the speed of dragons, but a great kindness to his men. Korath chucked to himself, just wondering how he and the other original soldiers just ended up in his small army, he was part of the 13 that had survived the battle that lord Ron had won Single-handed, a castle fight, outnumbered, out-geared, but not out skilled. he had watched from where he lay, nearly unconscious as his lord fought alone, screaming the name of his fallen men, he watched as his lord caught the remaining enemy army to shreds, pushing them off the wall and making them flee. Now we never know what happened to the loot from that battle, but we heard our fallen comrade's families found themselves suddenly each in a lot of money. We each have a good sense of what happened to the loot that day, and for that, we still follow Lord Ron, a lord worthy of our oaths. Verik is the oldest serving giant in our small army, me and him have a friendship, more so than with my fellow humans. He has talked to me about his people and how little of them was left, his village, they were nearly wiped out, he and some 5 other giants survived the fight and went their separate ways, and he ended up here in lord Ron's party. Me? Well, I was down on my luck, farming was not for me, but I could fight, so I joined up with lord Ron's party, been with him for years at this point, along with the original 13. In this last battle, they had lost 4 men, all newer men, but the enemies they faced lost far more. I had slain 7 of them. Not one of them had landed a hit on me. The giants made a majority of the kills, very few were surprised by that fact, few men would willingly let a giant swing their famous clubs at their heads, and fewer would live to tell the tale. The men that had been thrown at them this time could hardly be called men, so he had felt a bit bad as he gutted and slaughtered them as they came upon Ron's forces screaming., Their lord Ron cut them down with his great axe in droves. The battle lasted only some 3 minutes as they were sent running as the giants bashed heads in left and right. I sighed as I saw the last of our foes cut down by my lord's bow. My sword streaked with the salty blood of the iron isle. I shook my head, I had to quickly get to the looting before my comrades got the best spoils for themselves. I turned around and set myself about looting the corpses of the dead.

Too bad they can’t do these mods on console… seems like there’s some pretty awesome ones. I’d settle for my smithing not being broken and constantly resetting all my crafted gear to base stats though (and apparently even changing some of them back to the base 50% builds - even though I definitely crafted them at or around 100%… never had that happen til yesterday).
