Thanks for this Adam, as a North Shields lad now in Canada an ex N/S junior, many moons ago, always great to see the robins do well, long time since the vase and of course the amatuer cup. One of the few NE teams to have won anything.

I'm a Bay fan and have been a few years, but was born in N.Shields... The derby is always a game where the loyalty can be 50/50 but its good to see the Robins promoted. I was up last week and despite a hard-fought match, Bay won 2-0 against RCA (4th in the table). Shanks definitely the stand-out player.. Packed out Hillheads compared to last Saturday but always a good atmosphere.
