Great build and thank you for sharing the information. Wondering why there are no clamps around the drain tubing which may come loose with all of the vibration offroad

Thank you! I took the video about a week before final pickup so they were on the punch list. Yes the definitely would have come off on the road!

Great build! Did total composites build the shell or just provide the hardware? If they built, what was the cost of the shell (panels, corners, doors, windows).

So they shipped the kit to a shop and the shop built it...this was years ago and before TC required shops to train with them before building any of their kits. I'm not sure of the cost. I'm sure TC could point you in a direction of a supplier/builder. TC also recommended a different build process for cabinetry, a lot of adhesive, floating cabinets, etc. as the box itself shrinks and expands depending on environments.

That plumbing that's just exposed to the outside in Alaska would be toast, better have some insulation, protection and serious heat...I feel like even road damage would be likely with just straight exposed pipes like that.

I totally agree and feel it would have been better suited to be run in the box. The owner wanted as much storage inside as possible and advised me to keep everything outside. I personally would have used a hydronic heater exterior to the vehicle with a heated floor and a heat exchanger inside the habitat to supply on demand hot water.

Sorry but this is a complete bad install - Poor use of space, it looks cheap with the exposed wood. Overlanders are a compromise, who wants a dishwasher in a camper like this? You have lost all the space for your services which is why you have exposed hot and cold piping under the chassis. Get all critical services inside and get everything insulated. I get that you are working to a design but man, how could you leave water piping outside!

Certainly to each his own in this case. The truck came to me with cabinetry already installed and yeah I would have gone with some HPL on them! The owner wanted as much room inside as possible and wanted everything else outside, despite the obvious concerns. Complete bad install seems a bit much?
